I need support for my labor because I am terrified of giving birth. This is my first baby. My cousin told me I should hire a doula, so here I am.
Hello, our baby is due on June 1, 2026, and we are covered under Kaiser insurance (Priya Vaswani – Kaiser ID 18917120). We would like to know what services are covered under our plan and what the applicable copays would be. Our main needs are: Doula support during delivery Basic care for both mom and baby Guidance on newborn care, as we are first-time parents Please let us know if there’s anything else we should consider. It would be preferable to have someone who speaks both Hindi and English, though this is not required.

I’m also open to paying out of pocket but tricare would be my first pick. 3. This is my second child and the labor with my first was under 4 hours. Birth plan this time would be to labor without an epidural. All other parts of my birth plan I’m open to suggestions. I’d like to labor at home if possible.

The main responsibility is to take care of the baby during the night: bringing the baby to mom for feeding or bottle feeding as needed, burping, changing diapers, soothing the baby to sleep, and light baby-related tasks like sterilizing bottles and pump parts.
I plan to give birth at Kaiser Santa Clara. I prefer a doula that is covered completely by my insurance. I know that I would like an epidural and that if a water birth is possible, that is my preference. I prefer a doula with 5+ years of experience. My Kaiser member ID is 14052507.
