I’m not sure which hospital out of loma linda, rancho, or Kaiser riverside so I’d like help with that decision as well. I have Kaiser that covers doula services so I’m not sure how to go about pay for that or how it works but want to learn more. I’m a also a first time mom and didn’t even know people went into labor with a “plan” so any information and guidance on what would be best as a black mom for maternal healthcare and for a black infant would be appreciated.
Hello ! I am recently pregnant, due Jan 2027. This will be my 3rd pregnancy/birth so it's nothing new to me but since it will be my last , I am looking to try something new and have a doula by my side. Both of my previous pregnancies I spent alone . Luckily this time , I have an amazing partner and supporter, just looking to add in a little support in areas he can't always fill. Looking forward to meeting the perfect match ! I plan on giving birth at a hospital just to be safe. Also, I have medi-cal/IEHP so looking for someone who accepts that !

Home birth needs with a certified nurse midwife. I have blue cross blue shield that will cover care by a certified nurse midwife
I am looking to do a home birth in 2027. I am not yet pregnant but will be starting to try to conceive in the next few months. I am looking for a midwife or OB for prenatal appointments as well as birth at home or at a birth center. I want someone that aligns with my values of natural birth and a more holistic approach to medicine. My budget is less than $10,000 out of pocket and I would need them to accept insurance and/or HSA for payments.

Unmedicated birth education and coping skills, coaching during birth, advocacy during birth
I will be giving birth at the Naval hospital in Camp Pendleton. Hoping to find someone who is covered under my insurance-Tricare prime. I am trying for an unmedicated birth, but am open to intervention if things aren’t proceeding as planned. Still in need of education for myself and partner for birth prep. I am a NICU nurse, but husband wants to be involved. I am used to the baby side of things, but not laboring!! Also would love lactation advice after.
I plan to give birth in a hospital and am looking for a doula to help me advocate for myself, as well as assist me in learning crucial birth prep info and coming up with a plan! I do not have one in place yet. Estimated budget is $3000, hoping to use ChampVA insurance.
Hi there, My name is Anna, and my husband and I are expecting our first baby, a girl, with a due date of July 24, 2026. We're planning to deliver at Scripps Encinitas. As first-time parents, we're looking for a doula to support us both through labor and delivery and then at home during the postpartum period, and I'd love to find out if we could be a good fit. A few things about what we're hoping for. During labor at the hospital, I'd like to try for an unmedicated birth and want support in working toward that. Afterward, we're looking for in-home postpartum assistance once we're settled back home. This is all new to us, so I'm also hoping to learn more about how doula support typically works and what your services include. On the insurance side, I'm covered through Cigna (Open Access Plus plan), and I understand you're in-network with them. I'd really like to make sure the services we receive are covered under my plan before we move forward. My benefits administrator has told me that coverage is subject to a prior authorization, which will determine the length of care and medical necessity, so the support we're approved for will be based on the care plan in that authorization. I'd appreciate any guidance you can offer on how billing and that authorization process work on your end. If you're available and a good fit, I'd love to set up a short consultation call to talk through everything. It would also help to know what your birth and postpartum services include and your pricing, so we can plan accordingly. Thank you so much, and I look forward to hearing from you.
I am not entirely sure where i am going to give birth or anything this is my first pregnancy and would love some guidance as i tend to stress out .
My goal is a low intervention VBAC. Open to either home or hospital—but I am leaning towards laboring at home for as long as I can before giving birth at a hospital. I am in search of a Midwife or Monitrice (LM or CPM perhaps?) who can help me labor safely at home (provide fetal monitoring, look for signs of rupture, preform cervical exams if necessary.) Thank you very much for your time!
