I want a beautiful birth for my baby Either at home or at a good hospital I will be paying with medicaid
I plan to deliver in a hospital, but our hospital system merged with another and 7 Obs left. We have had a great deal of difficulty getting appointments, and just met one of the providers at the practice who we did not particularly like. Our consent that we have to sign for delivery today mentioned that a provider might not be present for the birth. We are worried that we will not have support, someone checking on the baby and myself when delivery comes. Our baby was also conceived through IVF and we are being told that induction may be necessary, including Pitocin and we want to be sure we have all options available and open to us, and focus on more natural ways of inducing labor if baby’s safety is genuinely at risk.
