I would like help and resources for planning a home birth, mental healthcare during pregnancy and postpartum, as well as help finding postpartum support
Need someone to be there every step of the way. My last pregnancy with my daughter I ended up with high blood pressure. I wanna do birth at hospital.
Home birth and first pregnancy so I don’t have a budget per se but would prefer if my insurance was accepted through midwife
Home/water birth. No insurance. ~$5,000 budget. Prenatal visits and ultrasounds/blood work
At this point we are planning a hospital birth. This is my first birth and we are having twins! Ideally want a natural vaginal birth if everything goes well with little to no interventions. But having someone alongside to give advice/help with the birth I’d love.
I want a home birth that is calm and stress free. I want someone who listens to me. My budget is 600
I would like to give birth at home. I need a certified medical specialist ( Midwife) by my side. Whom can help me come up with a birth plan and have a safe delivery
Home Want a provider that takes my insurance and is confident on what they’re doing with me and the baby 30 years old I’m having twins
Prenatal & postnatal education Labor education/tools to assist Lactation knowledge Insurance coverage- needs to go through insurance Still early on in the birth plan process. But planning to have a hospital birth, and aiming for all natural
I plan to deliver in a hospital, but our hospital system merged with another and 7 Obs left. We have had a great deal of difficulty getting appointments, and just met one of the providers at the practice who we did not particularly like. Our consent that we have to sign for delivery today mentioned that a provider might not be present for the birth. We are worried that we will not have support, someone checking on the baby and myself when delivery comes. Our baby was also conceived through IVF and we are being told that induction may be necessary, including Pitocin and we want to be sure we have all options available and open to us, and focus on more natural ways of inducing labor if baby’s safety is genuinely at risk.
Home or hospital Cheap as possible unless covered under insurance Would like a natural birth
I do not want to give birth at the hospital, but at a birthing center for the most natural birth/ freedom to decide what I want for me and my baby. Planning on a natural birth with no medicines, and if possible, a doula or midwife with Christian beliefs and values. I'm unsure of costs as it will be through my work insurance. I'm still working on my birth plan, but I'd like to labor at home for as long as possible, would like a birthing pool/tub, delayed cord clamping, deliver placenta naturally
I plan to birth at home and am looking for the most affordable option, or potential payment plan. I’m not entirely sure what my ideal birth would be at the moment just that I would prefer the comfort of my home, and potentially a water birth.
I would like to give birth in the hospital. I would like someone who can speak English or Hindi. I do not have any budget planned as of now, but I want to do a normal delivery and I need a person who has experience in this and has good experience about the postpartum support needs.
We would love a home birth and a easy going Christian midwife
I've been trying to find a midwife for a while. I am in my second trimester and due on the 17th of September with my first baby. Every midwife I've tried around me has been booked or doesn't do first time births/babies. I would love to give birth at home, we can pay up to $5000 or we are able to work with more if need be. I want a calm atmosphere, I would love a pool but willing to discard if need be. No medication, I want my husband to catch the baby, cut the cord and announce the gender. I do not want the cord to be cut until it has stopped pulsing and turned white. I do not want to be asked unnecessary questions that my husband can answer when my body and mind is in labor mode. I want to move how ever my body tells me to move I do NOT want to be on my back when baby makes his or her debut. This is what I have come up with so far I am sure there will be more to decide or change my mind about , I will communicate that. Thank you for your time I know its a lot, but it means a lot to us. Thank you.
I am creating a resource and referral list for my community. I would like information on lactation support, postpartum support, maternal mental health therapists and pelvic floor specialists.
Home birth not really sure this is my 4th baby but never did homeburth
Ideally home birth, $3000 maximum budget, no vaccinations
Im a 18 year old mom thats currently 4 months along (exactly 15 weeks and 2 days) wanting to do a home birth but still wants to see a OBGYN or something similar to it so I dont have to give birth in a hospital unless absolutely necessary. I currently have no money at the moment but I have a partner who makes around 300 a week and we need at least 150 for necessities so if more money is necessary we would have to talk it out and figure out what we can do. I hate having to do doctor visits on a frequent basis but once every month is fine with me and maybe two or three times a month by my third trimester, im willing to have it be more frequent if the doctor thinks its necessary, and I would prefer if the visits were between Friday to Monday (Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon) at any time. Im not a picky person when it comes to what someone thinks I should or shouldnt do so any medicine or exercise routines im definitely willing to agree to and I dont mind having to shift around some of my plans in n case of complications and worry, I would just prefer a home birth but I know in case of emergency my partner would prefer for me to give birth in a hospital, so ill do whatever the doctor thinks is best but only if complications arise. I did recently move and plan on moving again soon so I dont have any medical history on me at the moment besides my ultrasound and hospital release forms. I dont know what else to really say so for any questions im glad to answer some later on during this process.
