This is my first pregnancy and I am looking for support in birth and post partum

Support partner and myself in third trimester, possibly labor, and maybe postpartum

I plan to give birth at Upper chesapeake MD with a midwife. Hoping my medicaid will cover the cost. I want my birth plan to be an unmedicated birth with delayed cord cutting and baby never leaving me. The only thing I want is a female provider.

We are giving birth at GBMC in Towson MD. We do not have A solidified budget and are exploring

John Hopkins hospital /Baltimore area WellPoint MD Insurance Im New to the Baltimore county area so I’m unfamiliar with the area and hospitals. If anyone that has experience with these locations that would be awesome . In addition, I’m hoping to find a strong advocate to support me during labor and delivery — someone who will help ensure my voice is heard and my birth preferences are respected. I would also love support in preparing for birth, including guidance on exercises, positioning, and techniques that can help with labor progression and pain management.

I need a doula who has expertise in working with first time moms with body dysmorphia and antenatal depression. I am already working with a therapist and psychiatrist but I’d benefit from the support of a doula as well. I plan to give birth in the hospital. My birth plan (so far) includes getting an epidural. I need a doula who can provide consistent emotional, physical, and informational support before, during, and after labor. I want help managing pain naturally, including breathing techniques, positioning, and comfort measures. I also need someone who can advocate for my birth preferences and help me communicate with medical staff. During labor, I want continuous support, reassurance, and guidance to stay calm and focused. After birth, I would like support with recovery, newborn care basics, and breastfeeding if needed. Overall, I’m looking for someone who is patient, understanding, non judgmental, and dependable.
