I am a first time mom and I plan to give birth at the hospital. I’m not sure about a budget. I haven’t fully constructed my birth plan, but I know for sure I want my birth and delivery as natural, low maintenance, unmedicated vaginal birth. I don’t want the umbilical cord to be cut right away, no episiotomy, I want to my placenta to come out naturally, I don’t want to push on my back, non-medical coping strategies, using my own linens, delayed cord clamping, skin to skin immediately/uninterrupted golden hour with mom first hour then dad, I and/or my husband will be present at all tests (baby will not be out of our sight), lactation consultant asap, breastfeeding immediately, birthing ball, remaining mobile, intermittent monitoring, saline locked, care clustered and DND sign, labor down, dimmed lighting, my own music, delayed bath, have my placenta come out naturally and encapsulated, do not wipe off vernix, I am having a boy so we want him to be circumcised. I would like a very well educated, knowledgeable, and experienced doula not only with birthing but assisting in birthing/delivery with a black woman. I have tricare west insurance.
Hi there! I am looking for a dedicated independent postpartum doula to provide daytime support for our family. I’m seeking an experienced, evidence-based provider who can offer comprehensive care that balances newborn care and maternal physical recovery with robust breastfeeding and lactation support. Specifically, I am looking for someone who can help with essential day-to-day tasks—such as preparing meals, handling laundry, and doing light tidying—while also assisting with sibling care to help ease the transition for our four-year-old. Our ideal match is someone who brings a calming presence, deep knowledge of early feeding rhythms, and a hands-on, practical approach to managing a multi-child household.
Hello, I am looking for a birth doula for my second pregnancy. I am planning on doing a homebirth again and need someone well versed in mood setting, efficient movement during labor and multiple different types of comfort tools for laboring.
Looking for birth doula and post natal care Hospital is at round rock Baylor Scott
Has to be certified. Looking for general support and care. At around 5 weeks with my first, I had a scary panic attack due to postpartum insomnia and anxiety, which led to breastfeeding coming to a screeching halt. Looking for ways to avoid that outcome this time. I am 44, baby set to be delivered at 38w 5d on June 15 related to 10th percentile measuring (not showing signs of placental insufficiency or growth restriction, but abundance of caution). We have $1500 in reimbursable benefits.
I have just moved from Mississippi to Fort Worth Texas at 38 weeks and 4 days. (I don’t have family so me and my fiance came to be with his parents). I have all my medical records ready to be faxed and it has been a low risk and easy pregnancy. This is my first time looking for a doula honestly. No OBGYN around will accept me being this late unfortunately and that alone makes me nervous so I’m looking for a professional to ease that nervousness. I had a pregnancy mentor back home but unfortunately I had to tell her goodbye when we moved. I plan to birth our babygirl at Baylor Scott and white hospital in Fort Worth Texas. I actually go tour the facility tomorrow at 12:30. I have Texas Medicaid so preferably someone that accepts insurance.
