Hello families! Congratulations on your new addition(s)! My name is Kaila Stephens and I am a Newborn Care Specialist and Certified Lactation Counselor located in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have provided care for infants and their families for over a decade. I have a background in Early Childhood Care & Education, advanced newborn care training, and expertise in feeding, sleep shaping, parent education, nursery and baby registry set-up. Bringing new life into the world is an incredibly special and exciting time for families, but it is also a vulnerable time. My practice is judgement-free. My primary goal is to provide your family with the most support and knowledge possible to set you up for parenting success. When I am not caring for babies or running my business, I enjoy going to the park with my son, walking my dog Nemo, tending to my garden or reading a good book.
Kaila was the best thing that happened to our family post partum!!! We had her come the day after our baby boy was born, and she immediately eased our tired minds and hearts. We weren't the type of couple that did lots of research pre-baby, but that was OK (only) because Kaila came in and taught us EVERYTHING - from bottle sterilization, to pumping and how to measure the flanges, to newborn behavior and sleep patterns, to literally how to change a diaper.. She taught me how to breast feed and pump, and was supportive through my struggles. I get emotional even just thinking about HOW crucial having her help was. She was always on time and was flexible when we needed to increase hours. You can tell she really loves what she does which is so important in my opinion! We were originally contracted to work with her for 6 weeks but ended up extending our time because we found soooo much value in working with her. The peace of mind that we could rest at night without worrying about our baby was absolutely priceless. If we have a second child, we will 10000% work with Kaila again, and I recommend using her to every person I know who is currently pregnant or thinking about becoming pregnant. Getting help with a baby during the night is pricey, but it's hands down the best, most important money we've ever spent.

Hello! I am a proud Bay Area native and devoted mother. Over the years, I've passionately worked with children and families through photography, education, sports, and nonprofit organizations. Growing up in a large family has taught me the profound importance of having a supportive village. As a postpartum doula, I’m here to offer a calm and steady presence, with plenty of experience and a heartfelt commitment to supporting you through your unique postpartum journey. Families can count on me to be an extra set of caring hands, ready to support and during the beautiful chapter of welcoming new life.
Kamilah supported us through evening and night support for my boy. She helped us understand baby cues and how to transition out of swaddle and how to put baby into bassinet. She also helped with understanding various bottle nipples and gave us training before delivery how to swaddle, dress the baby. She also recommended baby stuff that we should buy. She is very professional and I am also grateful for the emotional support provided by her during this difficult time. I never had to worry about my baby when she was around which certainly helped with faster recovery. She maintained a very positive and calming environment in the house for my baby. I would highly recommend her and would love to work with her again in future.

I want to start off by saying please don’t judge a book by its cover. Having Lisamaria as my doula was absolutely the best decision we made. Having Lisamaria provide support for my family before and after having my son was something I didn’t realize I needed. That no sleep zombie life really messes you up. Having Lisamaria watching my son while I rested aloud me to actually rest knowing he was in amazing hands. Her breath of knowledge and experience was beyond helpful. She taught me tips and tricks that no class or YouTube video taught me. I still remember the struggle I had trying to get my son in the sling so I could have my hands friend. For some reason I just COULD NOT get it. I watched Lisamaria as she just twisted and pulled and made such a cozy little place for my son to sleep and relax in the sling. It took me MULTIPLE times to finally get it down. I was getting pissed and overwhelm but Lisamaria was there helping me every time with all calmness and patience.

I am Camila, founder of Sweet Tangerine Newborn Care. I am originally from Brazil and first moved to the U. S. as an Au Pair, but my story as a caregiver didn't start there. I've been working with children since 2011 when I started teaching preschool. Since then, I have always been involved in the area of education and child care. When I moved to San Francisco, I also had the opportunity to work as a nanny taking care of infants and toddlers. Being around babies and kids, and teaching them to develop and become amazing humans is a big part of me. I have dedicated myself to learning more and specializing in newborn care, which is the area that I love the most, especially now that I became a mom myself. Additional to my vast experience, I have a Master's degree in education science and many complementary courses in the area, such as Newborn Care Specialist, CPR, and first AID.
We loved having Camila as our postpartum doula! She helped us immensely during the first 6 weeks of our daughter’s life. Camila was present from our first night home and gave us loving support, confidence, and advice. We were so grateful to have her guidance during this emotionally and physically demanding part of our lives. We highly recommend Camila!

I am a bilingüe care giver, more tham 15 years, I am a nanny, postpartum and birth doula also a lactation educator.
We hired Anabelle as a postpartum night doula for the first few weeks after my daughter’s birth back in April. We were very happy with her service and found her to be trustworthy and reliable. She always showed up right on time and did a great job with taking care of my daughter’s night time feeds, putting her to sleep, diaper changes and washing my breast pump and bottle parts. Thanks to her I was able to catch up on some much needed sleep after knowing that my daughter was in good hands. We even extended our contract with her for a few more weeks. However, as she was traveling and had a contract with another family that was coming up she asked if it was okay to send her backup instead for those weeks. We really liked her backup Elida as well and don’t have any complaints about her service either. Overall I would recommend her (and her amazing backup) to any family looking for a good night doula!

Supporting new parents during the sacred early days of parenthood is not just my work—it's my calling. I became a postpartum doula because I believe every family deserves to feel cared for, understood, and supported as they adjust to life with a newborn. My journey into this field began when I moved to California during my two years as an au pair, caring for young children and living closely with families. That experience sparked a deep passion in me for helping others navigate the tender, transformative moments of new beginnings. I saw firsthand how much of a difference compassionate, hands-on support can make —and I knew I wanted to offer that to growing families in a deeper way.

Hello! My name Milati I’m a postpartum doula, here to support you during the early days of your journey with your new baby. My role is to provide nurturing support, practical assistance, and reassurance as you adjust to the many changes that come with welcoming a new family member. With a background in newborn care, lactation support, and family wellness, I work to create a calm and comforting environment so you can focus on bonding with your baby and taking care of yourself. Whether it’s helping with feeding, teaching soothing techniques, preparing nourishing meals, or simply being a listening ear, I’m here to make this transition as smooth as possible. My goal is to empower you to feel confident, rested, and supported as you find your rhythm. I look forward to being by your side and honoring your unique experience as you embrace life as a new parent!
Milati (Laty) cared for my newborn daughter over the course of 6 weeks in fall 2024. Trusting the most precious thing in your life with someone you’ve just met sounds stressful, but Laty made it incredibly easy for us. She has a gift for making families feel comfortable and secure, even in the most vulnerable postpartum moments. My husband and I knew our baby was in great hands with Laty. She is naturally warm, gentle, and soothing with babies, no doubt from her experience raising three kids of her own. Laty always looked so excited to see our little one, and that type of genuine bond is exactly what you hope for. Beyond taking care of our daughter, Laty took great care of us as first time parents. She made life easier for us in countless ways — folding laundry, supporting me with breastfeeding, teaching me new things like how to use a breast pump, ensuring I was well hydrated, and more. She also felt like a true collaborator when it came to figuring out our systems and routines. Laty always has recommendations, but ultimately defers to the parents’ choice on how they want to do things, which is a great balance. Finally, I spent countless late night hours chatting with Laty during feeds (before we eventually introduced bottles and I got some extra sleep!). All those hours could have been exhausting and stressful. Instead, Laty’s company made that time enjoyable and lighthearted, like I was talking to an old friend. I can’t overstate how valuable it was to have the help of a doula during the early weeks of our daughter’s life. It was truly like having another team member alongside my husband and myself. Milati was dependable, proactive, and kind, and I know she would be a wonderful asset to any family with a newborn.

I was born and raised in Brazil and in 2019, moved to the U.S. to work and study and since then I have been working on gaining knowledge and experience in the perinatal industry, pediatric sleep, and child development. I became a mother myself back in April 2023, and now experiencing the joys and challenges of raising little ones, I found myself more passionate about guiding, supporting, and educating new, expectant, and seasonal parents to navigate parenthood with less stress and more joy. I have completed my coursework to become an Advanced Newborn Care Specialist and Dual Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant. I can provide newborn care education, basic breastfeeding assistance, and sleep support. My duties while working with past clients include diaper changing, feeding, bathing, caring for the child while parents rest, age-appropriate sleep training, support in the transition to the fourth trimester, and educating parents in aged and developmentally-appropriate activities. I follow a family centered, judgement-free, caring and flexible approach helping parents to transition to a life with a new baby. I take pride in working with parents as a team, communicating and listening to their fears, concerns, and observations to provide tailored care and support to their families.
I am so grateful for my Newborn Care Specialist Jacqueline and the exceptional support she provided when my daughter was born. Her vast knowledge of newborn care is truly impressive, and her advice was invaluable. She is also an incredible communicator, always keeping me informed and reassured. Her attention to detail and genuine compassion were gamechangers and I felt incredibly supported every step of the way. She went above and beyond to ensure my daughter had everything she needed to thrive and that I had everything I needed to care for her. Jacqueline made this special time even more special for my family. I cannot recommend Jacqueline enough to any new parent(s) looking for outstanding care and support.

My name is Caroline Morris, and I am the founder of Sleep4Littles, a pediatric sleep consulting business helping parents of babies and toddlers teach their children how to fall asleep and stay asleep independently. I received my certification through the Center for Pediatric Sleep Management and am a mommy of a 2.5 year-old girl, and a 8 month old boy. I currently live in the Bay Area (California.) Sleep training both of my kids at a young age was life changing and they are both still wonderful sleepers today. I want to help other sleep-deprived parents get their lives back while also teaching their children a skill critical to their health and development. I approach sleep struggles with a well-rounded gentle approach and am here to help your family!. Book a sleep assessment call today to determine if we would be a good fit!
Our 10-month-old baby boy has never been a good sleeper, waking up 2 to 4 times a night and needing to fall back asleep in our arms. Nap time was a constant struggle, and he would barely sleep for 30 minutes at a time. Frustrated and sleep-deprived, my husband and I decided to seek help from a sleep trainer, and luckily, a friend recommended Caroline at Sleep4Littles. After speaking with Caroline on the phone, she immediately put me at ease. She is professional, confident, and compassionate. Caroline knows her stuff! She arrived at our home for Night Nannying and helped us implement a customized plan for our little guy. We began to witness a remarkable transformation in our baby. Today, he sleeps soundly from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.! We diligently follow the routine that was recommended, and it's been a game-changer for us. Caroline's expertise goes beyond simply fixing sleep schedules. She provided valuable advice on our baby's feeding and activities as well. Her extensive experience with little ones shines through in her thoughtful recommendations. We wholeheartedly recommend her services to any parents facing sleep challenges with their little ones. Caroline has truly been a lifesaver for our family!!

I believe that birth is YOUR story and should be done your way. I try my best to support my clients wishes during births and follow directions for post Partum care as well. I think it’s important not to push clients to do things but allow them to choose their own paths. I love what I do and I love educating my clients so that they’re able to make the best decisions for themselves and feel well informed when doing so…
Kourtney was great! She was our night doula for several weeks after our daughter was born. She was flexible with her schedule, which was extra important since we started two weeks after our expected due date. Kourtney arrived right on time each night and kept track of everything (feeds/diapers/sleep) happening throughout the night so I could pick up where she left off in the morning. Even when our daughter was gassy, fussy, and/or crying overnight, we hardly even noticed because Kourtney took such good care of her and soothed her back to sleep when she was upset.
