My due date is July 19, 2026. I plan to give birth at a hospital near Orland Hills, IL. I have Blue Cross Community Health Plans Medicaid and I am looking for a Medicaid-enrolled doula who can bill insurance directly. I would prefer an Arabic-speaking doula if possible. I am looking for prenatal visits, labor support at the hospital, and postpartum visits after birth. This is very important to me as I want emotional and physical support during labor.

Rush hospital is where I plan to give birth (main campus). My estimated budget would be 1500-2000. My birth plan is still being developed. I know I would want an epidural and pain meds as I’m not good with pain. I don’t really want to be induced unless medically necessary. I would like to allow my body to naturally take its course. I am completely struggling with breastfeeding my baby boy and I intended on just exclusively that instead of formula. The problem is latching on for comfortably. Another is lack of sleep due to confusion of days and eats during sleeping. Also having trouble with reflux while intended on laying him down although after being birth and set up for 15-30 minutes.
