I am planning to give birth at home and have a midwife already, but heard some insurances cover doulas as well and wanted to check that. I would really like to breastfeed exclusively so would also like to have a lactation consultant to reach out to if needed.
Hospital Unknown budget No plan yet- newly pregnant
Hospital- OPR Unsure on pricing. Would like to be as natural as possible but also have idiopathic Intracranial hypertension. All depends on my condition at the time of delivery.

This is my second birth. I plan to give birth at home with midwives present. I have no idea what our budget would be or what doulas charge. I plan to go fully uneducated and give birth in a birth tub and I plan to deliver the baby myself. As for a postpartum doula, I don't know our budget or what the cost typically is but my last postpartum was emotionally horrific and I would love more ppd/mood support.

I plan to give birth at KU med center but am wanting a natural birth. Would just like more support and guidance and someone there with me during birth to remind me of ways to cope. Hypnobirthing Breathing techniques Dark room Delayed cord clamping Using a midwife Want my husband to catch baby Don't want an epidural but if I do want to be at 6cm or more
I will be giving birth at the hospital without the epidural. I honestly have no clue what a doula costs so I’m unsure what my budget is but I am open. I do not want the epidural. I want to birth and labor in ways that are best for my body. And I want to do what’s best for my baby.
This is my 5th baby and I am looking for a doula to help me through labor and delivery
I plan to give birth at NKC Health, a hospital. My budget is under $1800. I want a birth plan that prioritizes ability to move, change positions, advocate for minimal medical intervention unless necessary.
First time mom, would like support and someone help prepare
Hospital birth, hoping for a doula to help me with pain management in the hospital and lactation at the house.
Considering a birth doula that is present in early and active labor. I will deliver in Lees Summit MO at Saint Luke’s East. My budget depends on if split payments are an option, preferably under $800 total. I do not have a specific birth plan, I’ve received epidurals in the past, the goal is to not receive the epidural and be able to move around. This is my 4th pregnancy and my husband is not very hands on during the laboring process, he gets nervous about hurting me or baby and just overall uncomfortable. This is why I am considering a doula for extra support. I have history of severe PPD so postpartum service for emotional support would be a plus. (Preferably one home visit postpartum).
This is our first baby, and we are looking for support and help in the process. Looking for a Christian and natural midwife and doula that we can work with. I want to give birth at a birthing center.
Hello! My parter and I are first time parents and very excited! We are both hoping for as much support as possible during labor and for postpartum care. Thankfully, I have a close family friend who can come stay with us for a month after baby is born and she has 6 children, 10 grandkids, 4 great grandkids, and 2 great-great grandkids- so she is well versed in childcare; still my husband and I want a professional to come and be with us during labor and after our babies birth quite a lot.
