Looking to have my baby in the comfort of my home and free from the medical world, where I have to go back and forth with nurses and doctors about what I want for my child, I just want a quiet natural environment to bring my baby into. I’m not sure where to start looking and what the price is but at 15 weeks I know I have to start this journey of trying to find the right support.
I am 33 weeks pregnant with my first baby girl and plan to deliver in the hospital. I am looking for a supportive, experienced doula who is comfortable working with a medically complex pregnancy. I have POTS, vasovagal syncope, iron deficiency anemia, and have experienced frequent dizziness, near-fainting episodes, tachycardia, and palpitations during pregnancy. I have been evaluated by cardiology and have a normal echocardiogram and no significant heart condition, but I still experience symptoms and anxiety related to labor and delivery. My goal is to remain flexible with my birth plan and do what is safest for both me and my baby. I would like to attempt a vaginal delivery if possible, but I am open to a C-section if medically necessary or if labor becomes difficult to tolerate. I am nervous about procedures such as IV placement, epidurals, and surgery and would appreciate emotional support, advocacy, comfort measures, and guidance throughout labor and delivery. I am looking for a calm, reassuring doula who has experience supporting clients with anxiety, POTS, vasovagal syncope, or other medical concerns. My due date is August 4, 2026. I am open to discussing pricing options and packages. I have Tricare.
I plan to give birth in novahealth, I have Medicaid, a unmediacated birth with minimal interruptions/ upright labor positions/but still have options for epidural. I’m looking for a person who can help me through birth, can speak Spanish for better communication, at least 3/4 years of experience, don’t care about age/ I need someone who can be there for me in any way that I may need.
Looking for a VBAC experienced doula for a hospital birth. Preferably on the more affordable end.
I haven’t decided where to give birth. I’m not sure my budget. I am low maintenance I’m considering not doing an epidural.
We are planning to give birth in Charlotte nc. Atrium hospital. We currently do not have a birth plan. All of it is new to us. Insurance is Anthem
Insurance covered doula. Hospital birth, preferably a black woman.
I plan to give birth in a hospital setting as this is my second pregnancy and my first birth had complications. I want to do an unmedicated birth and am looking for a Doula who can really support me through those contractions. While my husband will be with us, I want to ensure he is included 100% in the whole process. To me, birth is an experience for both partners and so I want to make sure he is included. I essentially want a third partner that can help guide him and teach him what I will need. I also would like a Doula that can teach me tips and tricks to help me with breast feeding. I could not produce with my first child due to stress levels and i am hoping I can breast feed this baby. I am knew to Doulas so budget I am unsure of and i want to see what my options are so I can discuss with my partner if a doula is 100% what we want. I am very aware that i am the one giving birth and not my partner but he and i make all decisions together. He is extremely supportive of my decisions but I always choose to discuss big options with him. My doula will have to be able to handle a stubborn woman who is sweet but when in pain sounds mean. I can be bossy so I need a doula with a backbone that is willing to put me back in the right mindset. I am a free spirit and need someone that can match my energy and is not scared to be my voice as sometimes I do forget to use it, especially in medical facilities. I do not know what a doula costs so I do not know how to budget for a doula and so I am hoping to see what is out there and go from there. I only speak English and since this is not my first rodeo with a baby, I do not need anything above assisting me through labor and the breastfeeding. Thank you soooo much!

Hi, I need help finding someone that could help me do a home birth. I believe in holistic and natural living
I do plan to give birth in a hospital but am not opposed to a home birth. This is my second labor and I would love to have someone this time around that can help my husband with helping me through labor. I ended up wanting space with my first and refusing help because the ways he was trying to help were just not relieving pain. I also tore quite a bit the first time and developed a prolapse after so this time I would really like to not have to lay on my back for pushing and am thinking I would like to not have an epidural either. We have Tricare and united health care and would love to be matched with someone in network
Plan to give birth in hospital. Budget negotiable.
I would greatly appreciate some additional support during this birth. Having experienced the loss of a baby two years ago, I find myself feeling scared and nervous.
Hello, Kindly advise when would be a good time to call you and at which number? Is it possible to have a free call soon? Best Regards, Touria
I recently found out that I am pregnant and likely due the end of January 2027. I plan to give birth in a hospital but as natural as possible. I am very wellness oriented - I am a strength and conditioning coach, very active, eat clean, and spiritual, and want to avoid unnecessary interventions like induction, epidural, pitocin, etc provided I have no risk factors at that stage in pregnancy. Ideal estimated budget of ~$1000-2500.
I plan to give birth in my home and I’m unsure how much a midwife costs but I would say at least 200 a month I’m not sure
CMC Main I have Medicaid 1. Environment & Atmosphere I prefer a calm, quiet environment Lights: dim / normal Music: (playlist) Limit number of people in the room/ I do not want residents or any training being done while in labor I’d like freedom to move around during labor 2. Labor Preferences Positions: walking, squatting, hands-and-knees, birthing ball I would like to get into the shower/ prefer a jacuzzi room I would like birthing ramp for support I prefer to avoid being confined to the bed unless necessary Intermittent monitoring vs. continuous (if medically safe) I’d like to eat/drink during labor if allowEd
I would like to have an at home water birth but I have medicaid.
