Hi LaShae, we met at Birth Detroit and you briefly spoke on your doula services. Right now I am on the search for a doula and I came across your page, just wondering if you are accepting clients right now.

I am giving birth at Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital. I have TriCare Select insurance and supposedly they are doing a trial run where they cover the cost of a Doula in 2026. My husband has to verify this. My parents are willing to pay for a doula if insurance does not cover it. We do not have an estimated budget. I have not made much of a birth plan but do plan to get an epidural if needed. I would like to avoid a c-section, especially since I hear they often do them unnecessarily. I am 33 and aside from hyperthyroidism I do not have any major medical concerns. My husband and mom will also be present at the birth. I am also looking into maybe a postpartum doula to come a few times, but I am not certain on this. Side note: If I had a postpartum doula come to my house I live in Sterling Hts.
