I’m looking for a lactation specialist who can also provide hands-on newborn care support. Ideally, this would be someone who can come to my home for a few hours each week to help with breastfeeding guidance, ensure I’m feeding and settling my baby properly, and walk me through basics like bathing, soothing, and overall newborn care. Baby was born premature at 30 weeks, spent 6 weeks in the NICU. Dad works full time long hours/late nights and mom needs night care to help her get more sleep. We need help at night with feeding, changing, and monitoring the baby. Since she is a preemie she needs some one to constantly monitor her breathing and it’s difficult for us to do alone.
