I am giving birth in a hospital with midwives Budget is under 2k if possible Not fully done yet but I would love the least interventions as possible. Laboring at home until its time to go, unmedicated (will budge if absolutely necessary, intermittent monitoring so I can move around the room, laboring in tub or shower if allowed. I am still working on it! I would love someone with alot of experience (not a deal breaker if we vibe), more holistic, offers birthing classes or education.
Support for a hospital birth with epidural, first baby. Budget: ~$1500 without insurance or after insurance reimbursement.
I have always wanted to do a natural, unmedicated birth but my last two children had to be delivered via c section, so I am hoping to have a vaginal birth this time and can do it how I plan. I am looking for a midwife or doula that can help make this happen for me. so far i do not have a set birth plan, i am looking for someone who will give me the good and the bad and not sugar coat anything. i am looking for someone who is very outspoken and will speak up and make me stick to whatever birth plan is decided. i am looking to have an unmedicated brith, i have no clue where this will take place. i need help !! i have united healthcare community plan insurance.
Plan to use the midwives at UTMC but wish to have a completely unmediated, non-induced, natural birth. Looking for coaching in managing birthing pains so my husband and I are better equipped for labor. No vaccines, oral vitamin K, leave placenta attached until the cord is while and stops pulsing, no bath/do not remove vernix, immediate skin to skin with mom. Not sure of typical cost of a doula but something reasonable
