Hospital birth Budget $1000 No epidural birth plan
I’m a first time mom and I plan on having a hospital birth without interventions unless absolutely necessary. I am looking for a birth doula to help advocate for us during labor as we want to avoid being coerced into unnecessary medical intervention. I fear I will not be able to advocate for myself effectively while in labor. I have a rough birth plan in place and would love to meet with a few doulas to potentially hire someone to be present for the duration of labor. We have a budget of about $1200. Thank you!
I plan to give birth at a hospital with minimal interventions. Estimated budget is $2000. My doula would need to be certified with experience. I am 26 years old planning to breastfeed, this is my first pregnancy.

Plan to use the midwives at UTMC but wish to have a completely unmediated, non-induced, natural birth. Looking for coaching in managing birthing pains so my husband and I are better equipped for labor. No vaccines, oral vitamin K, leave placenta attached until the cord is while and stops pulsing, no bath/do not remove vernix, immediate skin to skin with mom. Not sure of typical cost of a doula but something reasonable
I would like a Hospital birth , that is unmedicated
I don’t know any of this yet that’s what I need a doula for
Hi! I will give birth at Erlanger East Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. This will be our first baby. Looking for support leading up to birth and during the birth to support both me and my husband. No clue what sort of pricing this looks like so looking forward to hearing more. I would love to avoid a C-section if possible. Other than that, I would love a calm birth where I feel comfortable and supported and not stressed. Would love lactation support as well. No requirements, would love someone with great reviews.
I had my daughter via emergency c-section in August 2025 due to preeclampsia. She was delivered a month early. My husband and I found out we were pregnant again while my daughter is only currently 9 months old and with a potential due date of December 29th, meaning there will only be about a 16 months old age gap. My OBGYN cleared me for a VBAC and I would really like to try to do things as naturally as possible. I feel much less confident going into this pregnancy than I did with my firstborn with a previous c-section and with the age gap. We plan on giving birth at St. Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN. I don’t know what all is possible with a VBAC but my plan with my daughter originally was no epidural, no pitocin, and to labor at home as long as possible, but again, I worry about the risks with a VBAC may mean we should be at the hospital earlier in the labor process. I am looking for information and help with laboring naturally and natural pain management.
