Me and my husband planned on having a home birth with absolute no medications or epidurals. I want a complete natural birth, I would prefer for the midwife to be in the close to our area since we are located in Gastonia. Because this is my first pregnancy my budget isn’t really a specific number, I just need someone experienced and hopefully a midwife of color if it’s possible.
Hospital, 1750, postpartum, feeding care, physiological birth, holistic options

Emotional support before during after birth. Teaching husband how to support me physically and emotionally, someone there to be positive w me during the birth and positive and encouraging during the postpartum journey. I am already a mother but have never received the kind support I wouldlike
I would prefer a natural birth, somewhere close to a hospital if something goes wrong. But not at home. We use BCBS Highmark and are hoping to just use that or send them itemized receipts.
Our newborn has bad acid reflux but is managed throughout the day. In the evenings it seems to get significantly worse & she becomes inconsolable. We’re getting so upset that we can’t help our baby so we’re hoping to have someone work alongside us to monitor what’s happening & see if we can pinpoint something to help.
Post birth help and assisted hospital delivery (patient advocacy). Maybe some education.
Looking for a birth doula to attend my birth at Atrium Hospital in Pineville,NC
Planning on vbac in a hospital in Huntersville, NC
This is our first baby, so just hoping to find someone that can help us out, and that takes our insurance.
I plan to give birth in the hospital. I’m not sure what the prices are like but I guess around 75 an hour. I don’t really have a birth plan yet I have no idea what to expect really
Hi there, We are seeking a certified maternity doula to help with night nurse duties. We need the doula to be certified to be covered by our insurance. We just welcomed a baby boy 2 days ago and are looking for help with feeding and waking up with him at night. Thanks! Lindsay
I plan to give birth in a hospital but I need a doula that will help me advocate for myself. I have an overall “what I don’t want” but I’m terrible at advocating for myself and need a voice to help me not be swayed into something I don’t want to have. I am looking for a non-religious doula if possible and especially need one that takes Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina insurance. My goal is to have a natural birth in the birthing center (that’s attached to the hospital), I do not want an epidural but I’m open to trying nitrous oxide, I do not want to be induced, I’m aiming for infrequent cervical checks since they aren’t actually a way to assess progress, I want to delay cord clamping until the cord has stopped pulsating. I want to do immediate skin to skin with me and then with my husband and almost all tests can be done while doing skin to skin. I also do not want the baby taken out of my sight at any point unless for a medical emergency in which case my husband or doula would need to keep an eye on my baby at all times. I can’t think of anything else at the moment.
I plan to give birth at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte NC. I plan to have my child vaginally and need help with the laboring process. I also want someone that teaches me about breastfeeding and can help out post partum.
Looking to have my baby in the comfort of my home and free from the medical world, where I have to go back and forth with nurses and doctors about what I want for my child, I just want a quiet natural environment to bring my baby into. I’m not sure where to start looking and what the price is but at 15 weeks I know I have to start this journey of trying to find the right support.
I need a doula to take over the overnight shift of feeding and taking care of baby. I’m looking for someone about 3 nights a week.
Hello, Kindly advise when would be a good time to call you and at which number? Is it possible to have a free call soon? Best Regards, Touria
