What's the Cost of Hiring a Night Nanny in Galveston, TX?

The cost of a night nanny in Galveston, TX can vary depending on the specific services provided, the experience of the nanny, and the number of children being cared for. On average, the cost can range from $20 to $35 per hour. It's best to contact individual night nanny services in Galveston for specific pricing information.

The cost of a night nanny in Galveston, TX can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Galveston, TX, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. This process will help you find a night nanny who meets your needs and fits within your budget.

Howdy! My name is Aniya, and I am a certified faith-based doula and photographer! From a young age, I felt called to support families in birth, initially dreaming of becoming a labor and delivery nurse—until a home birth video shifted everything, revealing that my true path was midwifery. Rooted in my Christian faith, I began pursuing doula certification and seeking mentorship, knowing this work was both a calling and a ministry. I’m dedicated to assisting mothers and their families through the transformative experience of childbirth. I emphasize and provide emotional, physical, and informational support to ensure a positive birthing experience. My mission is to empower mothers, promote informed decision-making, and cultivate a nurturing environment that respects individual choices and preferences. Please reach out with any questions! I look forward to connecting! Aniya! (409)474-2244 communioncare@gmail.com

I hired Aniya as my labor photographer for my birth earlier this month, and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. This was my first baby and I was thrilled to have someone like her by my side. Although she was just my photographer, she truly went above and beyond during my last few weeks of pregnancy. She checked up on me, gave me advice, and helped ease my nerves a ton. During my actual labor, she was responsive and ready to come to the hospital even in the dead of night. She arrived when I was about 7cm dilated. I was in complete labor land and didn’t manage to say a single word to her, but she got right to work. She wasn’t in the way of anyone or anything, and got SO many beautiful shots. I feel so blessed to have these moments captured forever. This was one of the best decisions I could have made!

Caring for babies and supporting new families has always been a real part of who I am. Before I ever earned certifications, I was already the person everyone trusted with their newborns, toddlers, and the most sensitive moments of early parenting. Becoming a Certified Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula simply helped me put skill and structure behind something that has always come naturally to me. I understand how overwhelming the newborn stage can feel from the exhaustion, the learning curve, the emotions that come with healing and adjusting and my goal is to bring calm, confidence, and comfort into a family’s home. I take my time learning each baby’s unique cues and each mother’s individual needs so I can support both in a gentle, respectful, and compassionate way. i believe every family deserves to feel supported, every baby deserves to feel safe, and every mother deserves to be cared for during one of the most important transitions of her life. I believe in nurturing the whole family, not just the newborn, by creating peaceful routines, offering evidence based guidance, and providing help that feels loving rather than intrusive. Whether I’m assisting with nighttime care, helping a mom rest and recover, supporting feeding goals, or creating a comfortable rhythm in the home, I show up with patience, kindness, and understanding. My intention is always the same to make those early days feel lighter, to help parents feel more confident, and to leave families feeling stronger than when I arrived.

I don’t even know where to begin. She came into my life at a time when I was drained, overwhelmed, and struggling as a single mom to newborn twins. From the moment she walked in she brought comfort, calm, and genuine care. She took care of my babies overnight so I could finally sleep and I woke up feeling refreshed for the first time in weeks!! She even brought me a light breakfast before she left something so simple yet it meant everything! She was truly heavensent, sweet compassionate, and unbelievably reliable. I honestly wished she could have stayed with us forever. I’m so grateful our paths crossed because I didn’t just receive help I gained a true friend anyone would be blessed to have her care for their family.

Hello, I'm a queer and trans full-spectrum doula working in Houston, TX. Full-spectrum means that I am trained and experienced in supporting families through the whole range of pregnancy experiences, including trying to conceive, pregnancy, labor, postpartum, pregnancy loss, and/or abortion. All of my work is grounded in supporting folks in creating the families they want, when they want to, and how they want to. This looks like: accompanying you through the many decision points in your pregnancy and parenting journey, providing emotional and logistical care throughout this time of great transformation, and making sure you are connected to the resources you need to make the best decisions for yourself and your family.

We didn’t know we needed Chloe until we met her. It wasn’t until very late into my pregnancy, sometime around week 38, that we reached out to her for post-partum doula services and she was very flexible in accommodating us. As soon as we met her, we knew she was the person who would be now part of our journey as first-time parents. She was caring, attentive, listened to our concerns, and graciously supported us through every transition. I had a complicated delivery and recovery, and her calming and reassuring presence allowed me to heal as my husband and I learned how to care for our newborn. She was very flexible in creating a schedule that adapted to our needs week by week, and always brought nourishing food, sometimes bringing extra for other family members. Looking back, the early weeks of post-partum were extremely difficult mentally and physically since I had undergone a C-section, but her support was essential in getting us organized, learning how to prepare bottles, showing us positions to feed the baby, techniques for soothing, how to baby-wear, how to handle visitors and protect our boundaries, guiding my husband on how to be a helpful partner, and even be a crying shoulder when things got tough. Beyond being a doula, she’s also helped us with some babysitting now that our baby is older. It is comforting to know that our baby is cared for by someone who met our baby from birth and was familiar with our home dynamics. Hands down, she is our #1 option when we need someone to take care of our baby so we can have time for self care - which is also something she emphasized since day 1. If this was a voice message, it would consist of 10-15 minutes of nothing but good stories and praises for her - so this is our short and sweet version. We cannot recommend Chloe enough as a doula. She’s the best!

Highly Recommend Thalia – An Amazing Birth Doula! I had the absolute privilege of having Thalia as my birth doula, and I cannot recommend her enough! Despite being based in Houston, TX, she traveled all the way to Los Angeles to support me during my birth, and her presence made all the difference. From our very first consultation, I knew I was in good hands. Thalia was incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and attentive to my needs, both emotionally and physically. She took the time to understand my birth preferences and offered valuable support and guidance every step of the way. On the big day, she was a calm and reassuring presence, providing me with comfort, strength, and encouragement. Her support allowed me to have a positive and empowered birth experience. I truly believe that having Thalia by my side helped me achieve the birth I had hoped for. If you're looking for a professional, caring, and dedicated doula who goes above and beyond, look no further.
