Lactation consultant having issues with pain and flange

Baby won’t latch. Even when using a nipple shield she will latch but not suck. I am reaching the end of my emotional rope.

I believe I have a milk bleb and need help treating that. I am also interested in learning more about building a stash. And I have concerns about my child's sleep behaviors and pattern.

I started trying to pumping right at two week postpartum instead of in the hospital. Baby was given formula in the hospital. She won’t latch. I feel I’ve failed. I can pump from 5 minutes or over an hour straight and get nothing. Idk what I’m doing so wrong… I can get some out with using my hand(s)…

I am having significant breastfeeding pain and need a full feeding assessment.” * She transfers milk well and I have plenty of milk coming in, but feeds are very painful for me. * Her latch looks deep, but she clicks throughout most feeds (less when using a nipple shield, but still some clicking). * My nipples come out pinched/creased after feeds. * I already have friction blisters developing on my nipples. * The pain is severe and lasts the entire feed—I have to breathe through it the whole time. * A hospital lactation consultant mentioned possible oral tension or tight tissues, even without an obvious tongue tie. * I am concerned about possible suction or oral function issues (jaw, tongue, palate, or coordination). What I need help with: * Evaluation of latch and suction mechanics during a full feeding * Assessment for oral tension, high palate, or subtle tongue function issues * Help improving comfort immediately and preventing further nipple damage * Guidance on whether a referral to a pediatric dentist or feeding therapist is needed * Short-term plan to protect nipples while continuing to feed safely

Introducing bottle to 5 month old due to having to go back to work

I am nearing 1 year of breastfeeding/pumping and want help understanding how to decrease my daughter’s milk consumption. She is at daycare so we need to be prescriptive with them about when and how to decrease milk so cannot just follow her lead.
