Yes to epidural if hypno-birthing Is not going well & yes to c-section IF ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.

Last week I had an unexpected appendectomy and I’m now limited in my activities and how much weight I can carry (10 pounds). We are seeking daytime postpartum doula support, particularly over the next two or three weekends if that’s possible. Hospital birth at Inova Fairfax; Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO insurance, budget $1500-3000?; want to labor at home as long as possible and plan to get an epidural; certification required by insurance.
