We’ll probably live in the Rockville area but I’m hoping to give birth with the midwives at George Washington University’s hospital. I’m looking for a labor doula to support an unmediated birth. I also struggled with low supply with my first child so I’m hoping to find a lactation consultant who specialises in that. We have Tricare, which covers both doulas and IBCLCs.

Kneeling birthing position (not on back unless absolutely necessary). Unable to have an epidural. Hospital has minimal pain management options (maybe some local because I asked about it.
