Looking for information regarding a Doula or Midwife for early May delivery at NCH hospital in Naples, FL. Ideally we would be able to use HSA funds but that is negotiable. We don't have a full scale birth plan but right now we'd prefer unmedicated and unassisted (no forceps/vacuum) but obviously will do what's best and safest for baby.

I want 100% hands off, no intervention unless I have given complete informed consent.

I would love to find someone who offers payment plans if possible :) I am located in North Port. I plan to have an all natural birth with my husband, and mom present. I want to give birth at home, and have a vaginal birth. Mainly because of how hospitals push their protocols/ that can cause further interventions. Even if I have to go to the hospital due to any complications I just want someone there to help advocate for me and our baby girl. We have a budget of $2,500 for birthing, postpartum, and lactation consultation we are open to price difference within reason. This is my first pregnancy, I don't really have a birth plan, but I am doing my research to educate and plan. I would like someone who has 5 to 10 years of experience. I have a Obgyn and my last ultrasound was on June, 16th baby is 3lbs 7 Oz. and doing very well.
Hi! I’m looking for a doula who can support me during a low-intervention, unmedicated hospital birth. My goal is to labor and deliver without pain medication if possible, while still giving birth in a hospital setting for safety. I’m hoping to work with someone who can act as an advocate and steady support person during labor—someone who can help me stay focused on my birth plan, encourage natural coping techniques, and help communicate my preferences with hospital staff if needed. Some things that are important to me: • Support for unmedicated labor techniques (movement, breathing, positioning, water therapy, etc.) • Help maintaining a calm environment and keeping me grounded during intense moments • Guidance for my partner/support person so they can help effectively • Advocacy for low intervention practices unless medically necessary • Experience supporting hospital births with minimal interventions I’m looking for someone who is comfortable working collaboratively with medical staff while also helping me stay informed and confident in my choices throughout labor.
