I need a support. Someone to walk me through things like what do I need to get? My options for delivery? Essentially an educated friend.
I am an Indian expecting Mom and due on aug 22,2026. I am in search of a postpartum doula who could help look after some chores, baby care and postpartum mother care
Hi! seeking support. 26 weeks. I have midwives and a doula already but I feel I am missing spiritual, sovereign care and support. my baby will be born with a cleft lip. my dreams of home birth dont sound like they will be possible. feeling my midwives are leading with fear. having lots of anxiety bc of this + with more monitoring of baby increasing anxiety as well. wondering if you do 1:1 sessions or support? also interested in a mothers blessing ceremony.
We are struggling to get enough sleep. Baby doesn't like sleeping in his bassinet and prefers to sleep on us. He is also struggling to latch for breastfeeding. Helping us learn how to sleep train and set a routine.
Hospital birth Budget of 5,000 Twin pregnancy, first pregnancy. My mother will be staying with us for the first month. My husband will also be on leave for the first 3 months.
1. Hospital 2. Under a thousand 3. Birth plan: whatever needs to be done to be safe for me and child. I know I would love no epidural but due to my conditions and high case of c-section I would need to. I would love natural delivery again high chance of c-section. I was told by doctor due to my health OB/GYN is more recommended then midwife but stated a doula would be a good consideration.
I will be 28 at the time of birth.. I would like to give birth at home but cannot find a midwife so may have to resort to a hospital and I’d like to have a water birth. I am open to discussing budget. I hope to have my husband and mum with me at the time of birth. I require someone calm, with a wealth of knowledge and experience in supporting women through a trauma informed lens. Also - nutrition is important to me so someone who understands healthy nutrition and holistic care. English spoken well is necessary, French is optional but would be nice. I hope to have night care at least 2-3 times a week as my husband will be travelling for work over a couple months postpartum. I hope to sleep train and get some help with laundry/basic chores for baby. Open to discuss hourly rates or packages.
Help after delivery with feeding baby and sleeping
Hospital birth in Hamilton Ontario at st Joseph hospital. Hoping for unmedicated labor. I am 39 and it’s my first baby.
Hi there! I live in Georgetown, ON. I am looking for a night nanny to start at the end of September for newborn overnight support. I am looking for someone with experience and who is also able to help with light house hold duties.
Just need help for taking care baby for first weeks
Give birth in hospital, using epidural and pain management as soon as needed. Combination of formula milk and breastfeeding.
I will be going to St. Joseph’s hospital in Hamilton. Our budget would be around $1,500-$2,000. My ideal birth plan would be a vaginal birth with my husband there with my doula. Listening to music would be great but I don’t want other unnecessary noises and people present if they don’t need to be. I don’t want my water artificially broken and I do not want to be induced if it can be avoided. I do want an epidural for pain management. I would like delayed cord cutting and to have my baby spend the golden hour with me after they are born. I do not want an episiotomy or things like forceps to be used to deliver my baby if it can be avoided. I want the process to be as calm as possible.
I'm looking for a night doula 11pm-5am to help with the 2-3am feeds. I am a single Mom and need to get more than 1.5hrs sleep at a time. If that is not possible then early morning help. 4/5am-11am. My main area of need is helping with a feed while I sleep.
Looking for a doula to support with care once I bring the baby home from lactation consulting to night nurse. I will need someone who is covered under insurance (naturopath or otherwise). The due date is still tbc as labor might be induced a few weeks earlier than the due date.
