This is my first child. I would like to give birth at the hospital (most likely it will be in Ann Arbor). My budget would be around $2,000. I haven`t decided my birth plan yet but I know that I don`t want to induce the labor unless if necessary and I would prefer a natural birth without epidural injection, however, I`m not opposed. I`m looking for someone who could support me mostly during the labor. My husband will be present too.

I would like an home waterbirth with providers who preferably accept insurance. I’m not sure of my budget yet. My birth plan which is subject to change: delayed cord clamping, natural birth no pain management, skin to skin for mom and dad for the first 60 minutes, no eye ointment, vit k drops instead of a shot. I’d prefer at home but Beaumont or Corwell is an option. I have Medicaid and can cover out of pocket if necessary. Just want to make sure me and baby will be ok during my labor. I have not finished my birth plan, i am currently working on that.
