Cortland, Ohio
Hi there! I’m Michelle! I’m a fellow home birth mama to four amazing children. I believe birth should be gentle, undisturbed and transformational for mothers and their families. Nurturing mothers during birth and postpartum is the foundation for how they are able to connect with their families and themselves. We are rewriting the patriarchal narrative, women need to serve women above all else. It’s important to know that as your doula, I strive for a friendship, not a business agreement. I’m so excited to meet you!
Kent, Ohio
Hi! My name is Elizabeth (Lizzy) Higginbotham, and I am a certified birth doula based in Kent, Ohio. I’m also a senior at the University of Mount Union, pursuing a degree in psychology. My passion for birth work comes from the belief that bringing new life into the world is a beautiful experience, and I am dedicated to supporting and comforting mothers throughout their journey.
My experience with Lizzy has been wonderful. She is warm, approachable, and truly listens to both concerns and goals. I felt supported and never rushed during our interactions. She explains things clearly and gives practical guidance that’s easy to follow. What stood out most is how compassionate and patient she is, which made me feel at ease right away. Lizzy really cares about the families she works with, and that makes a huge difference. I would absolutely recommend her to other parents who want someone knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely invested in their well-being.

North Canton, Ohio
Hi! My name is Brandi. I'm so glad you are here! I began my journey into becoming a Doula after having a powerful birth (cliché, I know). It got me thinking, if I felt empowered then why shouldn't others feel that way?! Inspired, it led me to a career supporting others through their significant time. On my down time I stay busy being a wife and a mother to 6 active, awesome kids. You can almost always catch me on the field or in the gym. Some of my passions include God, coffee, plants, essential oils, baby-wearing, traveling, group exercise, crafting, crystals, nature, tattoos and herbal healing. But above all, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love to learn and grow. I like to encourage and empower families through their life journeys! There is nothing like becoming a family! I absolutely LOVE birth and can't wait to be a part of yours. And beyond. ❤

Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio
Hi moms, I am a doula here in the Cuyahoga falls area. I lived and got trained in Suwanee GA. I moved back to the area in may but have not had the availability to do births so I have taken a step back. I have settled in and have the ability to come along side families as a postpartum doula and night nanny. I have worked as a nanny for families for over 6 years and they all become like family. I would love to come along side your growing family and assist so you can thrive.
I truly cannot say enough good about Camie. She spent so much time with me leading up to my birth educating and preparing me and walking me through my choices. When she isn’t sure of something she doesn’t pretend, she finds a resource to get you an answer and that just made the trust between us even better. My birth went nothing like we had planned and we hit road blocks at every step of the way, but Camie was there from the moment I went in for my unplanned induction, for every painful moment and difficult decision, right through until my daughter was born. My birth was difficult, long, and taxing, but Camie was a rock through it all, not just for me but also for my partner. Her love for babies, for her role as a doula, for others, and for the Lord is unmatched and I am forever grateful for her.

Columbiana, Ohio
Hi, I'm Kyleigh, hopefully I'll be your doula. I am so excited to go on this journey with you, but first let me introduce myself. I started this journey after working in the nursing home as an Stna. While I love being an Stna, State Tested Nurse Aide and Esthetician, I have always been curious about birth and the female anatomy. So, I decided to get certified. I have always had the heart for taking care of people and can't wait to care for you and your family. When I was little, my younger sister and I would pretend like I was the doctor and she was getting ready to have a baby. My sister would go to check ups and I would give her an "ultrasound" and eventually she would birth the baby, a doll put under her shirt, and she would come back with her doll for a postpartum checkup. Since I was a little girl taking care of moms and babies has been my dream. As an SBD certified Doula, I feel honored to be able to share my expertise with women and families around Columbiana, Mahoning, Stark, and Carroll County. I approach birth holistically. As well as physical support during labor, my role is also to act as an advocate for the birthing woman and her family. Contact me to find out more.

As a first-time mom, I truly cannot put into words how grateful I am for Krista and the role she played in our birth experience. From the moment I met her, I knew that no matter what happened, she would help make my birth journey as positive and empowering as possible. From the very beginning, she brought such a sense of calm, reassurance, and knowledge that helped me feel prepared for what was ahead. During pregnancy, Krista answered every question with patience and care, giving us the tools and confidence we needed. Whenever I had concerns after a doctor’s appointment or moments of nervousness, she was the calming resource I could always turn to. When it came time for labor, her presence was absolutely invaluable. She knew exactly how to support me both physically and emotionally, creating a safe and peaceful environment where I could focus fully on the process. Krista was also an incredible support for my husband. She gave him the confidence to know how to help me during labor and guided him in a way that made him feel included and empowered, never sidelined. Her support didn’t stop after birth. Krista checked in during those early postpartum days, reassured me when I felt uncertain, and offered thoughtful resources when needed. The birth photos Krista took were absolutely amazing. She did an incredible job capturing a once in a lifetime moment. They will be something we cherish forever. Looking back, I can’t imagine going through birth without her. My husband and I both agree that we want Krista by our side for any future births as well. Hiring her was one of the best decisions we made, and I will forever be grateful for her support.

Hello! I’m Kayla, I’ve been a doula for about 3 years now. As I do Doula work, I am also a nanny on the side. My passion for birth work came from talking to friends and families about how traumatizing their births were. The more research I did, I soon realized that some of that trauma could have been resolved by simply having an advocate. I wanted to be that advocate for mothers. I truly believe that birth is such an amazing event, but each and every mother deserves support, as it is a huge moment. I want to advocate for YOU. If you have any questions in regards to availability, or just any questions in general, please reach out via email: thedelightfuldoula.pa@gmail.com
