I used Wendy's services exclusively for my postpartum recovery. To begin, I want to share that I am a very private person. This is my second child (my first is three years old), and it has always been my husband and I caring for our children. I have never hired a babysitter because I am not comfortable inviting others into my home, and I tend to be very guarded. However, caring for two children on my own made my recovery slow and difficult, so I decided to try one session with Wendy to see if this type of support would be a good fit for me. Long story short, Wendy changed my life! She fully understood and respected my need for privacy and always made sure I felt comfortable. She was consistently punctual, professional, and attentive. She took the time to understand my home, my children, and my parenting style so she could proactively support me in genuinely helpful ways without ever overstepping my comfort zone. Most importantly, she helped create the space I needed to rest, heal, and recharge. She struck the perfect balance between giving me the privacy and quiet time I needed while also checking in and offering support whenever necessary. Most importantly, both my baby and my three-year-old absolutely ADORED Wendy. She was wonderful with children and made me feel completely comfortable entrusting them to her care. In fact, after her final session, my oldest was so sad to see her go that he begged her to come back and visit him. Wendy has a heart of gold. She is incredibly knowledgeable, a great listener, and a genuinely thoughtful and compassionate person. It was clear to me that this is more than just a job for her—it is her passion. I am beyond grateful that not only I, but also my children, had the opportunity to know Wendy. I highly recommend her as a postpartum doula during one of the most vulnerable and transformative periods in a woman's life. She was exactly the right person for my family, and I am confident she will be for yours as well.

Wendy’s qualifications are truly just the cherry on top of the kindness, calm, and non-judgmental support she provides. I chose her as my doula for my second child after being diagnosed with gestational diabetes and feeling like I needed more guidance than I was receiving. What stood out most was how Wendy helped me truly understand my body and my options. While my doctors were preparing me for a possible C-section, Wendy took the time to explain what was happening physically and how I could support my body if I wanted to try for a natural birth. After following her simple suggestion of bouncing on a birth ball for a few minutes each day, I began dilating around 35 weeks, so I stopped bouncing. By 38 weeks, I was already about 4 cm dilated. At 39 weeks, my water was able to be broken and labor began. The process was much smoother than I anticipated because I felt informed, confident, and supported—especially compared to the limited support I felt from my medical team. After my baby was born, Wendy continued to be incredibly supportive with lactation. With her help, I was able to breastfeed successfully throughout my baby’s first year, something I didn’t get to experience the way I wanted with my first. I’m incredibly grateful for her knowledge, care, and steady presence during such an important chapter of my life.

I hired Wendy to be my birth doula. as we got to know each other during the prenatal visits, I decided to also hire her for postpartum help. Wendy's approach to caring for me was so genuine, calm and patient. She is very knowledgeable. She always made sure that my needs were met. She went with me to the pediatrician and my OB appointment. She went grocery shopping for me; she took care of my baby while I napped and showered.
