Hi! I’m Tunisha (Nisha), a passionate certified birth/postpartum doula, mother of three amazing kids. My own experiences with pregnancy and birth taught me just how transformative this time is, and my philosophy is simple: every parent deserves to feel empowered, respected, and safe, no matter how their birth unfolds. Before becoming a professional doula, I was the go-to person for my friends and family, providing hands-on support, encouragement, and care during their pregnancies and early postpartum days. I believe in 'mothering the mother'—offering calm, non-judgmental, and practical support to help you navigate this incredible journey. I would be honored to hold space for you and help you welcome your baby with confidence.

I had a positive experience working with my doula during my pregnancy and birth. She was supportive, easy to communicate with, and available to answer questions as they came up. Although my birth ultimately ended in a scheduled C-section and she was not permitted in the operating room, her support before the procedure and afterward was appreciated. She helped me feel more prepared for delivery and provided reassurance during a time that can feel overwhelming. I appreciated having an additional source of support throughout the process and would recommend her to families looking for guidance and encouragement during pregnancy and birth.
