Hi! I'm a postpartum doula building on a lifetime of loving babies and littles. Beginning with babysitting as a young teen, my fascination with and delight in tiny humans has fueled much of my volunteer and ministry work over the years. Now that I'm mom to 3 pretty incredible young adults, I was thrilled to find the field of postpartum doula work that is such a natural fit! I did my CAPPA training in May 2024, and completed the certification process in June 2025. What a gift and honor it is to be invited into a client’s home and to support and encourage new families as they make the transition to adding a new little person to their mix! Remembering so well how it feels to be a new mom, I love to help make life as easy as I can during this sweet and exhausting time! Cedar Park has been home for 11 years. Outside of my doula work, I'm cheering on my kids' various activities, having a great meal with my husband, or curled up with a good book.

I love supporting and encouraging new families! It takes a village to raise a family and the days with a newborn are no exception. My primary focus is supporting mom, but that can look a lot of different ways depending on her needs. I often end up doing a bit of light meal prep, baby laundry, washing and sterilizing bottles and pump parts, baby care, including feeding, education around newborn care for first time parents, and nursery organization.
Tara is a literal angel on earth! She provided overnight care for our newborn and family. From night one we felt completely at ease and safe with her taking care of our baby. The minute she walked into our home my husband and I let our a collective sigh of relief. Tara has the most comforting and calming presence. She went above and beyond with supporting our entire family. She was always willing to provide advice and bounce ideas around regarding our baby. She is incredibly thoughtful with providing suggestions to deal with issues. Our baby started sleeping through the night early (might be Tara's magic) and we still miss Tara!

Tara was, simply put, the greatest gift of our postpartum journey with our newborn. As a first time mom, she immediately put my mind at ease with her warmth, expertise, and guidance. After our first week with her, my husband and I felt as if we’d known her for years! Beyond just her immediate caretaking responsibilities, Tara was extremely generous with product recommendations when we asked, outside observations about our newborn’s behavior, and insights on what to expect in the future so we were well prepared for his growth spurts! Look no further, as Tara is the best of the best! We miss her already, and would have her with us for much longer if we could.
