Hello, I had a preterm baby and we were latching her with a nipple shield but I have slowed down on that bc she lost weight at first and the pediatrician told me to stop. So we did and I’ve been pumping. I’m really not enjoying pumping so often and would love some help latching her and maybe getting off the nipple shield? She has a great latch to be honest.
I am looking for an experienced postpartum doula, newborn care specialist, or lactation support provider for my 4-month-old daughter. I am a work-from-home mom and first-time breastfeeder who is currently triple feeding due to weight gain concerns. My daughter recently dropped significantly in weight percentile, and I am working closely with her pediatrician while trying to increase my milk supply and improve breastfeeding. I would love support from someone experienced in infant feeding, breastfeeding, bottle feeding, infant development, and postpartum care. Ideally, I am looking for someone who is patient, knowledgeable, and experienced with breastfed infants. Lactation experience or certification is a huge plus. Duties may include helping with feedings, infant care, soothing techniques, age-appropriate activities, light baby-related housekeeping (washing bottles and pump parts, baby laundry, organizing feeding supplies), and providing guidance and support as we work through feeding challenges. My daughter is 4 months old, healthy, alert, and generally happy. I am looking for part-time assistance and am open to discussing schedules, rates, and experience. Please reach out if you have experience with newborns and infants, breastfeeding support, or postpartum care.
Better understand breastfeeding and pumping schedules to increase supply and know my baby is getting enough to eat
Looking for a doula to help first time parents with at home support including breast feeding, pumping, sleeping and newborn care.
I plan to give birth at Riddle Hospital. I would like to find these services like lactation consultant in-home visits through my insurance.
I will be giving birth at Cooper Camden. I plan to labor at home and then hope to establish a calm and comfortable environment when I transition to the hospital. I love to be in water and plan to use a shower. I do plan on receiving an epidural but would like to be prepared in case that cannot happen. I am interested in a doula with several years experience. I am an older mom at 35, in a higher risk pregnancy. I am looking for a doula to assist with labor preparation, to attend my labor and delivery at the hospital, and to provide postpartum and lactation support as I hope to breast feed.
I plan to give birth at Lankenau Hospital I am open to negotiate pricing I would like a no intervention natural birth
I am looking for a lactation specialist who is able to help me breast feed my son. I am having so much difficulty breast feeding. My newborn has a slight lip tie and a tongue tie. He consistently refuses my breast and takes a bottle with ease. When he does latch it's not deep and extremely painful. Please help!
Just need a check in visit/weighted feed. My baby was born at 10lbs 7.4oz and is now 14.3 but is not really gaining much. My peds isn't to worried about it yet because his length and head growth are still great and he is a very active baby and has been since around 2 months. So I just want to make sure everything is going right with breastfeeding and see how much he is getting.
37 week girl born May 16. Weight loss 17%. Normal pees and poops during weight loss. SNS started May 19th with tube on ripple. Pumping every session 3 hours
St Francis hospital . I’d like to have a natural birth barring and complications that threaten the safety of myself or baby. I believe my insurance covers certified doula care.
Hi! I am seeking a doula who accepts Medicaid coverage. I’m due in just a few short weeks and would love to find a doula who is able to help me accomplish my birth preferences: - reduce likelihood of c-section, and other intervention, continuous professional support, hoping for maximal pain relief support since I don't want an epidural - help with the first feed - to have someone in my corner to translate medical jargon, relieving sense of unknown. - unless medically indicated, I plan to spend early labor at home to stay relaxed and hydrated in a familiar setting - I prefer to avoid Pitocin or artificial rupture of membranes unless there is a clear medical necessity - I wish to use upright or gravity-neutral positions for pushing to improve efficiency and reduce the risk of tearing - Immediately after birth, I request immediate skin-to-skin contact and delayed cord clamping (until it stops pulsing) - I plan to exclusively breastfeed and wish for all initial assessments to be done while the baby is on my chest if possible.
I'm seeking a certified dealer that can be able to support my partner and I as we are preparing for our first pregnancy. I am already two months along.
Looking for a certified lactation consultant to come to my home after birth
Hello. I just had my third baby January 5th. He was in the nicu for 2.5 weeks, so he was fed expressed breastmilk and nursed while i visited him. He’s been home for over a week now and we are struggling mastering the perfect latch. I’m in serious pain half the time. Based on my knowledge/experience with my other two kiddos, my baby has a tongue tie and I suspect that is part of the issue. He is scheduled to get that evaluated on February 9th. But in the meantime, I would really like to meet with an LC to help us and if we go through with a tie release, I feel I need some guidance there too. With my first child, I decided to exclusively pump right off the bat. With my second, I pumped and nursed. But with this baby, I would really prefer to nurse more than pump, but unfortunately right now I’m pumping more because of the pain. I have horizon nj health insurance and really need to find a LC who can take my insurance. Thank you!
Breastfeeding has done amazing - but I need help with pumping. Anytime I’m away from my baby I get clogged ducts or mastitis
