Hello there! Welcome and thank you for taking the time to get to know me and the services I offer. I want to take a moment to congratulate you on this incredible journey you are on to becoming a parent. You are taking important steps and doing your research just by being here. We are all experts here. I am an expert on birth and support. You are an expert on your body and your baby. Your partner is an expert on you and your needs. I support all birth plans and recognize that you are an individual and your birth is exactly that, yours. I support you in whatever you desire and choose whether that is an unmedicated birth, medicated birth, induction, planned cesarean, VBAC, home birth, etc. I made the decision to pursue birth work because I had an amazing birth experience and happily shared my story. By sharing, I quickly discovered that many people did not have a positive experience and that traumatic experiences were the norm. This sparked a passion to serve families and help change the narrative of birth experiences. I have served 9 families as a postpartum doula and 45 families as a birth doula over the past 3 years and it is a dream career!
I have told anyone that will listen that hiring Melanie was one of the best choices when it came to my pregnancy and birth. We did the Birth Boot Camp comprehensive class, and I felt that was incredibly informative as well. Melanie has such a sweet demeanor and her calm presence was very welcome and helpful for both my husband and I when we were in the hospital. I'm ecstatic that we're also able to have her be a part of our birth team for our second child.

Hello! My name is Erin, and I am so excited to be working for the OKC Metro region as a Fertility, Birth, and Postpartum Doula. I also offer placenta encapsulation as well. I would be honored to work with you and your family through one of the most exciting times of you and your families’ lives.
Erin went above and beyond to provide me with amazing care and resources for the birth of my daughter. The support she provided was pivotal in the success of my unmedicated childbirth, which I had attempted with two deliveries prior to this one- and had not been able to do before now. Erin was extremely thoughtful and respectful of my wishes, and was a wonderful advocate for me during this birth experience. I could not have asked for a better doula. Thank you, Erin!

Hi, I’m Aerin—founder of That Mama Rooted, a faith-based doula practice grounded in nurturing, presence, and purpose. I’m a birth and postpartum doula, photographer, and mother of three who believes that motherhood is sacred and that every woman deserves to feel supported, seen, and safe throughout her journey. My philosophy is simple: you were made for this, and you don’t have to do it alone. I offer emotional, physical, and spiritual support to help you feel deeply held in one of life’s most powerful transitions. Whether you’re preparing for your first birth or navigating your fourth postpartum season, I come alongside you with prayer, evidence-based care, and heart-led encouragement. Let’s walk this sacred path together—rooted in peace and led by faith.
I loved having Aerin as my virtual doula since I ended up giving birth to my baby while on vacation prematurely. Aerin was a great resource to have when it came to questions about my role as a NICU mom. She helped me advocate for myself regarding my role during my baby’s care time and skin to skin. She was also very encouraging when it came to my pumping journey as it looks a little different since baby is not with me at all times. Honestly Aerin has been a tremendous help emotionally as well as I navigate this life changing event unexpectedly, she’s amazing and I will definitely have her as my doula for any future pregnancies. 10/10

I work with my clients to find breathing and meditation techniques that work best for them. I want clients to feel safe, calm, and empowered throughout pregnancy and birth. If you’re interested in speaking with me we could talk about what your birthing needs are and how I could support you. I’m a full-spectrum doula working in Tulsa, I graduated from doula training with OKBEI in December 2023. Since graduation, I’ve mostly been focused on postpartum support and lending my expertise to family/friends. I’m currently working on Medicaid certification so I’m offering a discounted rate for birth support while I finish these extra requirements. This allows me to be very flexible and work with my clients’ budgets. I have a free consultation call with my clients to discuss birth preferences, support needs in prenatal/labor/postpartum, and a package for those services based on your budget. Everything is tailored to your needs and what you can afford. I’m passionate about ensuring that my clients have the birth they deserve. I want you feel safe, respected, and informed. I’d love to be a part of your special journey and give you the support you need to bring your sweet baby into the world! Reach out here or feel free to call/text!

My name is Ashley Gill and am a certified labor doula in the Tulsa area. I am also a trained postpartum doula and childbirth educator. I am married to my high school sweetheart, and have been for over a decade. I'm a mom to 4 amazing boys! My childbirth and postpartum experiences, as well as my background in social work, have directly contributed to my desire to be a doula. I want to help moms experience the labor and birth they want, and feel empowered with education, tools, and resources to make informed decisions. No matter where you give birth or what your preferences are, you always remember your experience and the emotions attached to that experience. I want to help moms and families feel confidence in their choices and grace in their birth story. Let's chat and see if we're a good fit!
10/10 doesn’t even explain how happy I was with Ashley! I met her when I was in my mid 30s week pregnant. I was honestly terrified as I was so close to having my little but I had no idea what to expect. Ashley literally jumped right in without any hesitation and got a full work up for the hospital on my wishes and very thing. A few weeks later I had 2 Braxton hicks crazy almost labor pains and Ashley was there. Because thank god let’s be honest it was terrifying Fast forward to labor. I was induced and it took 36 long hours.. with no progression. She was my ROCK during it all even being turned around and moved every 30 minutes due to having a epidural. Even while being away from her OWN kids and family sitting in the hospital for almost 2 days she was amazing. Never faulting, never complained just happy to be there always asking if I needed anything. My birth experience ended in an emergency C-section unfortunately. When I came back from the OR she was still there at my baby’s side making sure my wishes were being kept. Took pictures of our first moments, making sure I got my golden hour and had a hand on Brestfeeding. If my second wasn’t a planned c-section I would have had her at my side again. If you are wondering to yourself “is this price worth it?” Let me tell you it’s worth that and more just to have that extra person in your corner. If you want someone who will become family this is who you need. My family still talks to and about Ashley being there for us. We do not regret it whatsoever.

I have a heart to support birthing and postpartum mothers. After marrying my highschool sweetheart, earning my Bachleor’s degree in psychology and becoming pregnant with our first child, I became interested in becoming a doula. I later trained at the Indie Birth Association, which emphasizes autonomous and natural birthing practices, as well as Uzazi Village, which prioritizes birth assistance for black and brown families. These Associations have given me unique experiences to better serve families. I’m so grateful for my supportive husband, with whom I now have 4 young children, for encouraging me to pursue my dreams. In my free time I love to spend time with my family, homeschool my children, go to church with my family, read the Word, work on handcrafts, garden, explore the outdoors (kids and dirt were made for each other!) and continue my birth work education to become a midwife one day.
