Hospital birth but no and or very limited medical interventions
Help breastfeed my baby and help him latch. Getting my milk supply to be more
I’m looking for a doula and postpartum doula. I’m giving birth in a hospital I would like the doula to have at least 5 years of experience. I would also like to know if your company excepts insurance to determine my out of pocket cost and my estimated budget is $1000-1500.
I plan to give birth at Shiloh memorial in Shiloh Illinois I am using my Illinois Medicaid I don’t have a birth plan yet.
Baby girl is 13 weeks. Nursed like a champ from Day 1. Started incorporating bottles right away due to my readmission for postpartum preeclampsia and so Dad and siblings (15 & 17) could also bond with and feed her. She accepted bottle and breast just fine. Forceful letdown began in week 4/5. After consistently showering her face with milk, I began unlatching when I felt the letdown coming and would relatching once it passed and feeding her in a reclined position. Fast forward to week 9/10. She developed a thick white coat on her tongue and I started experiencing sharp shooting pains. Dr suspected a mild case of thrush so we started treatment and like a dummy, I temporarily paused breastfeeding to minimize passing it back and forth, despite her PED saying it was fine to continue. Now it’s been 2 weeks since she’s comfortably nursed. She refused to latch. She loves the same milk out of the bottle but notices and almost acts repulsed as soon as I switch from bottle to breast. Has it been too long? Is all hope lost? Any success stories of baby rejecting the breast in favor of the bottle then retuning to breastfeed?
1 month old, needs to improve latch and may need body work. Experience regarding tongue and lip ties is needed.
Mercy-midwifery 25-50$ an hour, nothing more than 1,500 total. This is my first birth and I am in chiropractic school (towards end) and have a bunch of questions and management ideas. Need a brainstorm partner and someone to be my voice when I can’t.
Help with breastfeeding my baby and keeping her awake
Painful pumping and latching on left breast. Left nipple is oddly shaped and I need help sizing it for the correct flange
Baby has a hard time latching sometimes and it is shallow, is fussy at the breast at times, prefers the left over right side, has gas and I believe she has a tie.
It still hurts when my baby latches. She latches well but it hurts.
I am back to work and pumping to replace feeds. Baby is eating more than I am able to pump. My right side gives me at most 1 oz (normally on my first pump, the rest I’m lucky to get 20mls) my left breast will typically give me 1 1/2 on the low end to 3 oz in a session. But I typically average 6-7 oz per day. I am looking for someone with experience on low supply and has successfully helped mothers increase. I am also looking for help with sleep. My baby refuses to sleep in his bassinet and will only sleep in bed with me. I practice safe sleep 7 but co sleeping honestly makes me uncomfortable and I want to be able to lay him in his bassinet after feeds and for naps without having to go get him in 20 minutes. Would prefer if servicer accepted insurance!
