I plan to give birth at the Fika Midwifery in Buffalo , NY. I am looking for a doula who has experience in home and birth centers. I prefer a doula who has a Catholic or Christian background and is comfortable using faith and prayer as a support during my labor. Having a Hispanic / Latino background is a plus but not critical. I need my doula to be partnered with Medicaid insurance to be fully covered. I have Fidelis Medicaid.
I need a midwife. I am still undecided concerning where the birth of the baby will happen
Hello, I am looking for a doula to assist w my labor & delivery in mid October 2026. This will be my first baby and I’m kind of stressed and lost to the whole process of everything so I am looking for support throughout this experience. I need someone to advocate my wants during labor and delivery and help me come up with a birth plan. I have Fidelis essential plan 2 as of right now however I will be switching to Medicaid at some point soon.
Looking for someone who will not debate my choices. I'm a crunchy christian mom. No one that shows her pronouns or has gender dysmorphia. Prefer someone who is actually awake not "woke". Probably give birth at McMaster hospital if there's no better place, open to home birth. I just know what I don't want but I'm open to what God has planned

A holistic minded doula that believes in minimal intervention for a Hospital birth
I will be going to St. Joseph’s hospital in Hamilton. Our budget would be around $1,500-$2,000. My ideal birth plan would be a vaginal birth with my husband there with my doula. Listening to music would be great but I don’t want other unnecessary noises and people present if they don’t need to be. I don’t want my water artificially broken and I do not want to be induced if it can be avoided. I do want an epidural for pain management. I would like delayed cord cutting and to have my baby spend the golden hour with me after they are born. I do not want an episiotomy or things like forceps to be used to deliver my baby if it can be avoided. I want the process to be as calm as possible.
I plan to give birth at Oishei Children’s hospital. My fiancé and I are in the process of figuring out a birth plan but don’t really know where to start, since this is our first kid.

I am delivering with Fika Midwifery in Buffalo. This is my second child and second birthing center birth. I did have a doula my first child and I have now become a doula as well. I’m pretty confident in myself and my boyfriend to mostly do it on our own, but would like a doula that is also comfortable taking pictures/memories. The pictures are important but would be amazing if I’m struggling and need doula to step in and help my boyfriend help me.. thanks!
