About me

Hi, I’m Siedah Israel, a Certified Labor Doula, Holistic Wellness Practitioner, and Certified Herbalist based in Fredericksburg (Spotsylvania County), VA. I’m a wife of 15 years, homeschooling mother of five, and bonus mom to a 21-year-old. I began my wellness journey by earning a certificate in Massage Therapy from Eastern Virginia Career College in 2018, went on to complete my Doula Certification at Germanna Community College in 2024, and graduated with honors in Herbal Studies from the American College of Healthcare Sciences in 2025. I’m currently in Phase I of my PEP process on the road to becoming a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM). When I’m not supporting families, you’ll find me homeschooling, exploring outdoors with my children, writing poetry, working on my werewolf novel, or handcrafting natural hair and skincare products. It’s a blessing to walk alongside families with compassion, cultural care, and grounded support during such a sacred season of life.

Deeply Rooted Birth & Wellness Care provides compassionate birth and postpartum doula support in Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, Stafford, and surrounding Virginia areas. I’m a Certified Labor Doula and Holistic Wellness Practitioner offering personalized care for families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Insurance is accepted, including Medicaid and TRICARE. My goal is to ensure you feel supported, informed, and empowered every step of the way.

Labor & Birth Attendance ONLY
This package includes up to 18 hours of continuous support, with my presence extending for one hour after birth.

Birth Attendance+
This package includes a total of 3 hours, which can be used for either prenatal AND OR postpartum sessions. Each session is for up to 1 hour, and any additional time will be deducted from the total. Appointments can be in person (client’s home, or agreed upon location), or virtual via zoom. Clients will be provided with a secure link via email for virtual sessions.

Complete Doula Package
Labor & Birth Attendance: This package includes 6 hours for Prenatal & Post Partum Appointments: Mon. – Thurs.: (in-person Mon. - Wed. ONLY) or virtual: education, discuss birth plan, expectations. support for recovery, newborn care, breastfeeding. Important information for all doula services offered: I will arrive at the designated location (I WILL ONLY ATTEND A HOMEBIRTH IF A CPM (CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL MIDWIFE) IS PRESENT), birth center, or hospital) within a minimum of two hours from the time I am notified (via telephone call ONLY) that the client is in active labor. Each package includes up to 18 hours of continuous support, with my presence extending for one hour after birth. If labor exceeds the 18-hour period, the client may request that I stay longer for an additional $45 per hour.
