Childbirth Education Session
During this session, you will learn about labor and delivery, to help prepare for the birth of your baby. A few topics included are: getting baby in the right position, how to prevent purple pushing, and keeping your mind and body relaxed during your birthing experience. This session is available in a private setting as well as a group setting. *Private sessions may not require the full 3 hours since there aren't as many participants.
Breastfeeding Consultation
This is an informative session on breastfeeding, offered as a 1:1, as well as a group session Topics include latching, milk supply, nipple pain and more!
Travel Doula Package
The travel Doula package is for clients who live more than 30 miles but less than 80 miles from 23228. This includes all birth doula support mentioned in the Birth Doula Care description plus an additional hour of postpartum support immediately after the baby is born. Birth Doula and Travel Birth Doula service packages include support during active labor and delivery, regardless of how long you are in labor.
Consultation
An introductory session via phone call, or video call. During this session, I discuss your expectations, wants and needs for your birthing or postpartum experience and give detailed information about the services I provide. *Consultations are required before moving forward with services to ensure myself and the client are a good fit for one another. This amount will go towards your services when I am selected as your doula.
Birth Doula
I provide mental, physical, and emotional support every step of the way during labor! This includes unlimited access to call or text me with questions or concerns, 2 virtual or in person visits to discuss your birthing plan, and full support during labor. Pricing is standard regardless of how long labor and delivery takes. This pricing requires the client to be no more than 30 miles away from zip code 23228. If you are more than 30 miles away, please select the travel doula option.
Antepartum Care Only
Antepartum Care provides mom and family with emotional and physical support before the baby is born. This is especially helpful to moms who have multiple children or have been put on bedrest. Services include attending prenatal visits, running errands, and companionship. This care plan is offered anywhere between 6 weeks gestation-week 40/42 of your pregnancy. Highly recommended for "high risk" pregnancies. *2-hour minimum
The Nanny
This package offers overnight nanny services. As your nanny, I will ensure baby is fed, bathed and ready for bed. In the event that baby is not ready for bed after night routine is complete, I will be there as a support system ensuring they have everything they need. During my time in the home, I will tend to any mess related to baby such as cleaning bottles and reloading formula maker if needed. *2-hour minimum
The Affordable Doula (local, 35 miles or less)
This package offers all of the benefits of the birth plan, minus the prenatal visits. This is the best option for those who are in need of doula support, and on a budget. With this option-I will be your birth worker for a total of 15 hours. Depending on how your labor progresses, your birth hours may transfer to postpartum hours. This will apply if I miss the birth entirely, or if labor and delivery lasts less than 15 hours. You have the power to choose my arrival point/time. I can meet you at the hospital, arriving when you arrive or I can come when you are in active labor. Please be mindful that I will not continue support beyond the 15 hour limit. This package may be for you if you are a single parent, on a fixed income, or in need of additional support and like to stay within your budget and includes a virtual 30-min prenatal visit.
Celebrity Travel Doula
This is great for parents who have multiple children and or pets! I want to lighten your load as much as possible. As your celebrity travel doula-you will have 3 in-person or virtual prenatal visits (optional) 1 virtual CBE session (3 hours) (optional), 5 hours of antepartum care, 5 days per week for 2 weeks (total of 50 hours) , full support during active labor, 8 hours of postpartum night care, 5 days per week for 6 weeks (total of 240 hours). I arrive 2 weeks before your duedate (antepartum phase) to help with light housekeeping duties, running errands, and last minute things to help prepare for baby's arrival. During your postpartum phase-I will ensure that baby is bathed, fed, changed, and ready for night feedings as directed. This task includes light housekeeping, specifically for baby's area, and belongings such as nurseries and or kiddie corners, bottle washing, bottle prepping, putting away babies dishes, clothing, wash cloths, towels and toys, and diaper bag packing. Rest peacefully with no interruptions knowing that your baby is in good hands.
