I plan to give birth at Swedish Hospital off Broadway in Seattle. My budget is low and I'm seeking someone that knows they are covered with Kaiser. My birth plan is detailed out in a document. I am going to give birth at Swedish Midwifery in Issaquah, Wa. We would like to spend between $1,500 to 2,500. I want to have an all natural and active birth. Spending time in the water tub as needed too. No vaginal exams unless medically necessary. No bathing, weighing or time away from Mom and Dad after birth for at least an hour. Delayed cord clamping, wait until there is no pulse and cord is white. We would like an experienced female doula with at least a few years under her belt. We only speak English, so a second language is not needed. Also someone who is able to help guide my husband on how to support me throughout labor would be exceptional. I plan on exclusively breastfeeding so having the doula be able to help out with latching or any other problems if they arise, would be great. This is our first child so we're new to all of this. Thank you for your patience.
