I’m having to have a schedule C-section due to pass and current medical issues.
Lactation consultant for 3rd time mom. Painful latch with possible lip tie . Needs to be in person and covered by insurance
Help with cluster feeding how to meet baby’s needs and milk production
This is my second child. First child exclusively breastfed until 15 months. Birth is via elective c-section at Advent Health. We have Aetna Foreign Service Benefit Plan that will cover lactation consultant visits.
My eldest daughter never latched successfully (breech c-section and then tongue and lip ties. Both were released around 2-3 weeks of age but it was very painful for her afterwards) and I exclusively pumped for 6 months and struggled to make enough. I would like to better prepare physically and emotionally for this next baby (potentially another c-section, maybe a VBAC if she isn't breech) and make a considerable effort to breastfeed or exclusively pump longer and more effectively. Also, I'm vegan so I worry my milk doesn't have enough fat
I plan on giving birth in a hospital. I consider high risk due to my age and weight. I’m 10 weeks, no issues or concerns at this point. I want support, education and help manage all that come my way. My max is $1500-2000
Want to make sure baby is getting enough + want to learn how to wean off nipple shield.
Lactation consultant certified and help with identifying tongue ties and is available for at home consultation $100-$200 No other additional requirements
I am trying to find a doula that will create a calm environment for an at home birth
In home lactation consultant for first time mom with goal of exclusively breastfeeding
I currently use the Spectra and Mom cozy breast pumps Right flange size? Am i installing it correctly for the optimum pump? Am i doing the correct pattern stimulation and expression as well as how high the setting is? Should i be pumping after i nurse? Is my schedule ok? 15-20 min only? **What do i do when the baby won’t latch but he’s perfectly capable of doing so but just wants the bottle nipple? **In general i need support getting my baby to feed. I desperately want to breast feed and not use formula.
I’m struggling with postpartum badly and need a certified therapist as well as a certified pp doula that studied postpartum and all the things that come with it, from the hormone drop, to all the emotions I’m experiencing to help navigate through what I’m going through and feeling. I’m a first time mom to a 10 week old baby, so this is all brand new to me and this had been a huge, beautiful rollercoaster full of ups and downs and I needed help. I’m also looking for an IBCLC to help my baby feed better as breastfeeding can be very frustrating and challenging sometimes. He started well, but it’s kind of tapered a bit. I would also like in-home help such as cleaning and cooking as well if that’s possible. I only have Sunshine Health Insurance and can’t afford to pay out of pocket, so please don’t message me if you don’t accept Sunshine.
Want to confirm baby is getting proper amount of milk and latching correctly. Sometimes he latches and then pops off the nipple upset after a few seconds. He’s also on the smaller side (6lbs 4oz) so I want to ensure he’s gaining the proper amount. My last post partum I had low milk supply so I’m worried about it with this time around.
I want a lactation consultant because my first is 3 and a half and I don’t remember all the tips and tricks. I did breastfeed him for the first year but I was also a stay at home mom, I will be going back to work this time so I need help navigating pumping and extra supply for baby. A postpartum doula would be amazing if covered for support postpartum. I had postpartum anxiety and my first also had a dairy intolerance and was colicky so any help there in case that’s the case this time as well.
Need lactation consultant to help with breast-feeding and tongue, tie, and tongue exercise exercises
Help with deep latching and identifying if baby has lip tie or tongue tie
I want to give birth at a hospital. I don’t have a set birth plan yet I kind of need help making one. All I know for sure is that I would like to look into other pain management options than the epidural, a big thing for me is that I would like to move freely as much as possible in labor
My last birth was a freebirth at home, i would prefer to have a medical team of some sort on hand for a homebirth this time. I am currently uncertain on a budget. I would like to plan a homebirth if pregnancy remains low risk. Labor in a quiet, calm environment. Dim lighting. Minimal unnecessary interruptions. Freedom to move, walk, squat, kneel, or change positions as desired. Access to water for comfort measures and possible waterbirth if appropriate. I would prefer non medication comfort measures first. Water immersion, position changes, breathing techniques, massage and counter pressure, and encouragement from support people/team. I would like to avoid unnecessary interventions when i and the baby are doing well. Informed consent before any non-emergency procedures. I would also like to have clear explanations of risks, benefits, and alternatives before decisions are made whenever possible. For delivery i want to be able to push according to my bodys urges rather than directed pushing if safe unless i ask otherwise . Freedom to choose birthing position. I want the baby on my chest immediately if both of us are stable. The golden hour is very important to me. I want delayed cord clamping. I want my partners involved in the delivery and cutting the cord. I would also like to deliver our placenta naturally if safe. I would like to initiate breastfeeding as soon as possible. Routine newborn procedures delayed until after bonding when medically appropriate. Keep mother and baby together whenever possible. Transfer to hospital if medically necessary. Preference for clear communication throughout any transfer. I would prefer a provider who is open minded to odd family dynamics and who has been practicing for at least 5-6 years. I am 28 years old, this is my fifth pregnancy and hopefully fourth birth.
