I am currently planning for either a home birth with a midwife and doula if we are fully moved into our home in time, or a hospital birth at either HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital or Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast if needed or if medical intervention becomes necessary. I am looking for a doula who is supportive of physiological, unmedicated birth and who values calm, intuitive, low-intervention labor support. My ideal birth environment is quiet, low-stimulation, and emotionally grounding, with dim lighting, minimal interruptions, freedom of movement, and clear communication before any interventions. I would love support with breathwork, positioning, counterpressure, water labor, relaxation techniques, and helping my partner feel confident and involved throughout labor and delivery. My birth plan is centered around an unmedicated, holistic birth with the option for water labor and potentially water birth if circumstances allow. I prefer intermittent monitoring if I remain low-risk, minimal vaginal exams, and avoiding unnecessary interventions or labor augmentation unless medically needed. If pain management becomes necessary, I am open to options like nitrous oxide or IV medication after trying natural coping methods first. After birth, I hope for immediate skin-to-skin contact, delayed cord clamping, uninterrupted bonding time, and a gentle postpartum environment that supports breastfeeding and informed newborn care decisions. My budget is flexible depending on experience, services included, payment plan options, and level of support offered. I am hoping to find someone who aligns well with my values and helps me feel safe, empowered, and calm during birth.
I plan to give birth at west Florida hospital in Pensacola. I would like a natural birth, delayed cord clamping, baby to never leave my or my husband's sight while in the hospital. I would like a Christian doula if possible. I am interested in placenta encapsulation.

I am planning a home birth and am looking for support throughout my pregnancy, labor, and delivery. My insurance is CHAMPVA, which I expect will cover eligible services. At this time, I am still learning about birth plans and would appreciate guidance in creating one that aligns with my preferences. I am interested in a calm, supportive environment and would like to better understand my options for pain management, labor support, and postpartum care. My budget will be primarily covered through CHAMPVA, but I am open to discussing any additional costs if needed. Overall, I am seeking a knowledgeable and supportive provider who can help guide me through the process and ensure a safe and positive birth experience at home.
