Mission~~~ I am a “pick-your-own-adventure” kind of doula! With tailored care to your unique dreams for this journey, we navigate the waves with a spirit of confidence and bravery. I promise both to help you find the strength from the Lord that He has already given you and ensure informed consent, so that you may be at peace with the choices you make for you and your baby. ~~~Impact: My passion is to help women reclaim their confidence in their God-given intuition, and ability to trust their body & this process. My goal is not a specific birth for mothers - my goal is that after working with me, they are able to look back on their birth and say, beaming with pride, “I could do that again”. Birth is hard - but it doesn’t have to be traumatic. My aim is to help create a day that is beautiful, that doesn’t elicit a stress response when remembered. (And bring fun into birth, whenever possible!) Tulip Doula Services celebrates our beautiful, heaven ordained biology as women - honoring our sex’s special gift to be our babies’ first home, of mothering, and to be a mother! My present calling is to help women discover that they are STRONG, ABLE, & RESILIENT.
Working with Sarah was one of the best decisions we made during our pregnancy journey. From our very first meeting, she brought a calming presence, deep knowledge, and genuine compassion that made us feel supported every step of the way. She took the time to understand our birth preferences, answered every question with patience and clarity, and helped us feel informed about what decisions were coming our way. Although Sarah wasn’t able to be present at our birth due to unforeseen circumstances, we still had an incredibly positive experience thanks to her thoughtful preparation and the amazing support provided by her backup doula, Christina. When labor began, Christina stepped in seamlessly—clearly a reflection of Sarah’s dedication to building a strong and reliable support network. Christina was phenomenal - intuitive, encouraging, and provided unwavering support and reassurance during a long induction. As a first time mom, she made me feel confident, safe, and supported throughout the entire experience. We even managed to have some laughs along the way during active labor. I'm certain that without Christina by our side, we would've had a much different experience. Sarah and Christina's support didn’t end at birth! They also checked in with us postpartum to help us process our birth experience, offering guidance and kindness that made the transition into recovery and parenthood feel less overwhelming. Because of Sarah and Christina, we walked away with a positive birth experience despite having a labor and birth that didn't go as we planned. It’s clear she’s deeply passionate about what she does, and her dedication shines through in every interaction. We’re so grateful for Sarah and would wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a nurturing, knowledgeable, and truly exceptional birth doula.

Hi, I’m Heather! I am a Wife, a Mom to a sweet boy, and a Postpartum & Infant Care Doula. When I found out I was pregnant I researched all things labor which is important, but I didn’t realize the importance of Postpartum Planning & Care. Throughout my own journey in the Postpartum Period, I developed a deep passion to serve and empower you in yours. This is ultimately what led me to become a Postpartum Doula.

Experienced doula, childbirth educator, and Certified Lactation Counselor. Registered nurse with experience in labor and delivery, pediatrics, and pre and post surgical care. Homeschool mama to five children. I have experience in the hospital setting as well as the homebirth setting. My goal is to spread the truth about childbirth and support women and families on their birthing journey.
Alex is an amazing and knowledgeable doula. She has given me all the information and help I needed to do a non-medicated birth confidently. Might I add he was a 9.1lb baby. She is so kind and always up for questions and helping in anyway she can. I appreciate her so much, because of Alex I didn’t approach birth with fear. I had a 12 hour labor and I remained relaxed, focused on each surge bringing me closer to meeting our child and melting into each surge. (Follow Alex to know exactly what I mean) Highly recommend working with Alex in anyway possible to gain the confidence for birth like I had.
