About me

Nicole Strader, Birth Doula My name is Nicole Strader, and I am a birth doula committed to supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the early days of parenthood. Birth is a deeply personal experience, and every family deserves to feel informed, respected, and supported throughout the process. My role is to provide steady emotional support, practical comfort measures, and evidence-based information so parents can approach birth feeling prepared and confident. My philosophy is simple: parents should never feel alone or unheard during their birth experience. I meet families where they are, respect their choices, and support them as they navigate pregnancy, labor, and the transition into parenthood. Whether a birth unfolds exactly as planned or takes an unexpected path, my goal is to remain a calm, reliable presence so families can focus on welcoming their baby. At the heart of my work is a simple goal: to ensure every family feels supported, respected, and confident as they welcome their child into the world.

Packages
Doula Birth Support
This package includes two prenatal visits to prepare for labor, birth preferences, comfort techniques, and partner support. I provide continuous labor support during your birth, offering emotional encouragement, physical comfort measures, and guidance for both you and your support team. After your baby arrives, we will have one postpartum follow-up visit to check in, answer questions, and support the early transition into parenthood. A limited number of families may choose a reduced rate of $900 if they are open to allowing their birth to be used toward my certification requirements. This option requires a signed agreement acknowledging participation for certification purposes. Regardless of how the birth unfolds, families who choose this option will not be responsible for any additional fees.
