I enjoyed having her as part of my birth plan. She was very helpful and helped me keep calm and understand everything that was going on around me. She made me feel like family and thats what I wanted. She helped me alot, emotionally and psychologically.

Mislene helped me deliver my first child at the Atlanta Birth Center and it was an amazing experience from beginning care with her in my first trimester all the way to delivery and postpartum care. She provided thorough education and combined her Haitian knowledge with her practice, which I really appreciated. The postpartum care really helped me feel seen as a new mother as well as boosted my healing experience. My partner really appreciated the services as well and the education that she provided. As a first time mom, scared of childbirth, I felt very prepared and very supported during my delivery at the Birth Center, Mislene was an advocate for me and helped ensure that I knew all of my choices before having to make decisions.

I had the privilege of working with Mislene Cherisca during one of the most vulnerable times in my life, and I truly cannot recommend her enough. As a mother already navigating grief, I knew I was at high risk for postpartum depression, and having her support made an incredible difference in my recovery and overall well-being. Mislene Cherisca visited me weekly, but she also checked in frequently between visits, which meant so much. I genuinely looked forward to our time together each week. During our visits, she created a space that was just for me—something that felt rare in the postpartum period. We talked about how I was feeling emotionally, and she cared for me in such thoughtful ways, from belly wrapping to making tea and providing massage. Those moments of care, presence, and encouragement were truly the best part of my week. What sets her apart is her warmth and positivity. She brings such a calming, uplifting energy, and she makes you feel seen, supported, and cared for as a whole person—not just as a mother caring for a newborn. I highly recommend her to any family looking for compassionate, attentive postpartum support. She is truly a ray of sunshine, and I’m deeply grateful for the role she played in my healing journey.

I am beyond grateful for Mislene and the incredible support she provided throughout my pregnancy and postpartum journey. From the very beginning, she made me feel seen, heard, and truly cared for. Her presence was calming, reassuring, and full of positive energy the kind that instantly puts you at ease. During pregnancy, she was always available with encouragement, knowledge, and gentle guidance. Postpartum, her support was just as meaningful. She checked in, offered reassurance, and helped me navigate that tender transition with confidence and grace. Her energy is unmatched warm, uplifting, and empowering and it made such a difference during one of the most important seasons of my life. I appreciate her so much .
