Planning on a home birth with my four pregnancy. Planning an all natural birth, obviously if complications occur I need someone that can make the call to go to the hospital. Not exactly sure what my budget would be, but am looking for someone with a payment plan that I could use to pay for their services.
In search of a lactation consultant to assist with successful breastfeeding post partum
I need help getting baby to latch and pumping tips with size flanges
Hi there. I exclusively pump and I make just enough.. slightly more if I pump more for my son by like 10-15 oz a day. I have elastic nipples (I think) and have tried everything to get my output correct. I have the pumpin pals flanges and a spectra. My nipples are starting to get deflated and very red and painful.. I don't know why. I have low vacuum, silicone flanges, massage, heat, ice, I've tried everything. It's at a point where milk just gets stuck in my boobs and will not come out when I pump unless I squeeze throughout the entire pump. Every time I'm done pumping I can still hand express streams out so I am never getting fully emptied by a pump. I have a eufy s1 too and that used to work great.. then all of a sudden stopped working and I would only get 1-2 oz per side when it used to be my primary point getting 3-4 per side. I'm sitting here pumping now, nothing is coming out, and I'm completely full. I need help, I've been so miserable when I pump. Thank you.
I can’t get my baby to have a deep latch. Or if I manage to at first, he always shortens it within a minute.

I need someone to help me make sure my baby is latching good. My boobs are very sore every time she latches I could cry. I would like to see someone in person so they can help me with latching my baby right and positioning her good.
I want to birth my baby at home. I live in Grand Rapids but came to Lansing for a few months. I’m unaware how this process begins or where to start.
Want to make sure baby has correct latching and transferring correctly. Baby has only ever had breast milk and I collected colostrum for 3 weeks before he was born and had that in hospital. His latch seems to be good and causes me no pain but he has a top lip blister and unsure if that’s from the few times he took a bottle when I pumped or from his latch,
I need help with getting help with my latch of baby to make sure she is properly latched for feedings I planned on exclusively breastfeeding and as well as help with clogged milk ducts
Lactation consultant My dream was to have my baby breast and bottle feed and I just cant get her to latch. I have seen a couple lactation consultants and both of them were ZERO help
Looking for a lactation consultant that will help with a very painful latch from a newborn that has resulted in nipples that are sore, and about to bleed. I would prefer in home visit and one that is covered by BCBS michigan insurance.
Hello, My husband and I are expecting our first baby around August 22nd. I hope to labor at home as long as possible and then will deliver in a hospital in Traverse City, MI. I would like labor and delivery to be as natural as possible, avoiding any unnecessary medical interventions for baby and I. I’m hoping for a doula who brings a calm gentle presence but is also able to adapt and advocate for me when needed. As a first time mom I’m hoping for support and guidance around all things lactation. I do also have a very friendly dog that will be a part of everything at home. He’s very gentle but also very much a puppy still so it’s important to me that we’re working with someone who’s is comfortable around dogs. My faith is also a strong part of how I approach birth and motherhood, so I would be overjoyed to work with someone who is comfortable providing support and encouragement from a faith based perspective. However, this is not a requirement. More than anything I just want someone who can respect my values and help me feel peaceful, informed, supported, and advocated for throughout my first experience with childbirth.
Lactation consultant who can come to home and help with baby's latch.
Not sure if baby is getting enough milk from breastfeeding would like a weighted feed done
This is my first child. I would like to give birth at the hospital (most likely it will be in Ann Arbor). My budget would be around $2,000. I haven`t decided my birth plan yet but I know that I don`t want to induce the labor unless if necessary and I would prefer a natural birth without epidural injection, however, I`m not opposed. I`m looking for someone who could support me mostly during the labor. My husband will be present too.
I'm planning on giving birth at Covenant hospital. However, I would like as little medical interventions as possible. This is my first pregnancy and I'm looking for someone to help me prepare for labor and help me through the birthing process to hopefully avoid a C-Section. I would also like to know if there is a doula who accepts aetna ppo insurance.
This is my first birth and we are giving birth away from home (our families are in Chicago) so I’m looking for extra support and guidance. We will be giving birth at Sparrow hospital. My goals are to avoid C-section (if possible), avoid any invasive tools or unnecessary procedures and avoid epidural (if possible). I’m open to someone with less experience and I am unsure on a budget at this time.
