Birth Doula Support
Birth doulas provide emotional, physical, and informational support before, during, and after childbirth. I help my clients understand and navigate the childbirth process, advocate for their preferences, provide continuous support, utilize comfort measures and techniques, and assist with communication with medical staff. My goal is to equip and empower you to have the birth you want.
My support includes:
- A free consultation to get to know each other and see if we are the right fit
- Virtual support throughout pregnancy and early postpartum
- One prenatal in your home where we create your birth plan and cover childbirth, breastfeeding and newborn care education
- In-person support from active labor until 1-2 hours post delivery
- One postpartum visit in your home
- Resources and local referrals

Postpartum doula support offers practical physical and emotional support to new parents. My goal is to help promote a smooth transition to parenthood by helping parents adjust to their new roles, providing guidance and reassurance.
My duties include:
- Light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, bottle/pump part washing, organizing nursery
- Light meal/snack preparation
- Newborn care throughout the night to ensure parents get maximum rest
- Breastfeeding/lactation assessment and support
- Physical and emotional support
