I am a midwife committed to keeping birth safe for both mother and baby through evidence-based care. My practice style emphasizes informed consent and refusal, as well as trauma-informed care, so that families feel respected, supported, and empowered throughout their journey. Providing home birth care allows me to walk alongside families in a setting where they feel most comfortable and confident welcoming their new baby. I am passionate about creating an environment where families feel supported, empowered, and truly heard as they welcome their little ones into the world. Before becoming a midwife, I served nine years in the United States Marine Corps, including a tour to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2009. My time in the military shaped my resilience, discipline, and deep commitment to service—qualities I now bring into my work with families. I offer comprehensive midwifery care designed to support families through every stage of the journey. Services include preconception counseling to prepare for a healthy pregnancy, complete prenatal care with a focus on education and informed decision-making, and home birth support where safety and comfort are prioritized. My care continues after birth with attentive postpartum support through six weeks, as well as well-newborn care during that same period, ensuring that both mother and baby are nurtured, monitored, and thriving in the early weeks of life.
