About me

Hi!!! My name is Megan Weimer and I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and the founder of Love & Leche Lactation, serving families in southern Chester County, PA and the surrounding tri-state area. I support families through prenatal and postpartum feeding with a calm, practical, and evidence-based approach. With a background in Industrial Engineering, I bring a problem-solving mindset to lactation care, helping parents understand not just what is happening with feeding, but why. As both an IBCLC and a parent of two whom I breastfed, I understand how personal and emotional feeding can be. My goal is to meet families where they are, honor their feeding goals, and provide supportive, judgment-free care that helps parents feel informed and confident.

Megan is a wonderful resource! She is kind, caring, easy to talk to, and feel comfortable with. I recently had a prenatal consult with her and am so glad I did! I feel much more confident and prepared for the arrival of my 2nd child with the information Megan shared and knowing that she will be there to support me as needed!

Highly recommend Megan!!! We used her for our third baby because he had tongue and lip ties, and I wish I had found her with my older kids. This was our first experience with using a lactation consultant outside of the hospital, and she was SO helpful. She was so reassuring about our son’s weight gain after he lost a little too much after birth due to his ties. She spent so much time with us going through everything and helping create a plan to get our son back to his birth weight, and to keep gaining weight. My husband and I loved working with her!!

Megan was amazing, would definitely recommend. I was dealing with a supply dip and she gave me multiple things I could try to increase my supply and made sure all of my questions were answered.

As a FTM, I was so nervous about what my breast feeding journey would look like. I took a parenting class and got some of the basic fundamentals but still felt wildly unprepared for this aspect of motherhood. Megan has been a lifesaver. She’s patiently listens to all my concerns and has been an invaluable resource throughout my BF journey. She knowledgeably answers all my questions, no matter how basic or banal, with ease and reassurance. But her passion for what she does is what sets her apart. I highly recommend Megan and Love & Leches Lactation!
