Hi there, I am looking for a postpartum night time doula for the first 8 weeks postpartum for 2-3 nights per week. My due date is August 25th, 2026. Requirements: Doula certification, CPR/first aid, background check and a few references. Care recipiente: Mother (me) - I am 34 years old and this is my first child and baby (newborn) - would be looking to the doula to help educute my husband and I on taking care of a baby in the first 8 weeks. Additional duties: Definitely sleep training when that becomes relevant, postpartum care (e.g., checking on mom), some light cleaning/tidying/laundry (but only when the baby is sleeping well). Estimated budget: Depends on hourly rate, but looking for 8 weeks of 2-3x per week visits.
I plan to give birth at Abbott Northwestern. This is my second child, my first was born at Regions which was a 30+ hour labor including PPH. I am hoping for a smoother experience and less anxiety this time! I'd like to find someone with several years of experience. My husband is a resident physician and it is important to us to find someone who works well with care teams. I am not sure yet about my postpartum doula needs and budget, just thinking I'd like to find help with that too.
I have a husband who travels a lot and have been only getting 3-4 hours of sleep per day. I need someone either early mornings or late night. Looking forward to 2 days a week
Hi Maggie! In my past two births, I’ve experienced long, stalled, painful labors and have needed inductions. Because of that, I’m really looking for strong, hands-on support during labor—especially someone experienced with helping labor progress, using positioning, movement, and comfort techniques. I’m particularly interested in approaches like optimal positioning (Spinning Babies–type techniques), as well as support during longer or induced labors. It’s also important to me that my doula has experience/comfortability supporting diverse families or are mindful of cultural/religious preferences.
Light cleaning, meal prep, laundry, sibling help and postpartum support

I am living in the Elk River area. I would like to give birth at a baby center that supports water births. This is my 2nd pregnancy. I would like someone who is calm and energy is positive.
Hospital birth but would like to keep low intervention and as natural as possible. First time parent so looking to see how much this might cost and if it’s something we can afford. Would like to labor at home as long as possible and then will go to Maple Grove fo delivery.
I would prefer a child birth center or home birth. I would like to birth in natural positions and use gravity to help with pushing. I would prefer female staff to be in the room during birthing process. I would prefer no epidural, and use natural home remedies for pain.
Starting to tentatively look for doulas for my second birth. I’ve never had a doula before but I’m very interested. I plan to give birth at the Ridgeview birth center in Waconia, MN. My budget can’t go higher than 2k including postpartum packages. I enjoyed a medicated birth with my first baby but wished I could have labored longer before getting the epidural—I had exclusive back labor and it was hard to make any decisions as I couldn’t move without having severe contractions. I’m hoping for a more peaceful second birth where I don’t have to be the most educated advocate in the room (my mom and husband were very supportive but didn’t have any background in back labor). As for postpartum, I’m interested in some form of small support since we’re transitioning to two kids and my first won’t quite be 18 months by my due date for baby #2. It will be a lot!
I plan to give birth at regions hospital in saint paul mn. Im hoping to find a doula that will work with state insurance. Im mainly looking for a little bit of help around birth so my husband can be with me fore delivery. I have a 2 year old girl already and we're new in the area with no friends or family. Im hoping we can find a sibling doula to help with big sis while the little one comes out.
Nighttime care, help with newborn care overnight, respond to baby/feed/change baby as needed overnight.
I'm giving birth in a hospital and hope to have a natural birth. This is my second child. I had breastfeeding struggles with the first and would love someone who can help with that. I will be 35 at time of birth. If the doula wouldn't mind watching the baby for a few hours so I could get sleep after birth that would be amazing. Someone who is Christian would also be a plus. I'm hoping to find someone who also works with my insurance
