About me

I’m Laura, a certified birth doula who is passionate about helping women feel strong, confident and supported as they bring their babies into the world. For over a decade now I have worked as a Personal trainer, guiding women to trust their bodies, build strength and move with purpose. This experience has shaped the way I approach birth. I believe women’s bodies are incredible capable and strong and with the right support, education and encouragement mothers can approach labor feeling empowered rather than overwhelmed. My philosophy is centered on calm guidance, physical and emotional support and helping parents feel informed and confident in their choices. I am here for you! I love combining my background in fitness and body awareness with my work as a birth doula, helping moms with movement, breathing and endurance during labor and supporting them as they recover and rebuild strength after birth. My goal is to walk alongside you during the most meaningful experience of your life and be a safe space where you feel supported and strong in the journey of motherhood.

Service introduction

I offer 2-3 packages of service. 1. Your traditional Birth Doula Services, including 1-2 meet ups to discuss your birth plan, questions, fears, preferences etc. Labor and Delivery Support - continuous support throughout the Entire labor and delivery process. Unlimited contact via text/phone leading up to delivery 2. Same as #1 but I also will get back in touch with you after 3 months PP to go over Nutrition, fitness, sleep, stress, calories while nursing and getting you back to yourself again. Includes 6 check ins.
