Lacie believes every mother deserves a birth experience where she feels respected, supported, and confident in what’s happening around her. As a certified birth doula and co-founder of FaberFam LLC, Lacie provides steady, evidence-based support so families can approach birth with clarity instead of fear. She is known for helping clients understand what’s normal in labor, make informed decisions in the moment, and stay grounded—even when things feel intense or unpredictable. Lacie combines hands-on skill with calm, attentive presence. She is continuously assessing labor progress, using positioning and comfort techniques to support the body’s natural process, while also helping partners stay involved, confident, and connected throughout the experience. Families who work with Lacie often say they felt “anchored,” “prepared,” and “never alone.” Whether birth unfolds exactly as planned or takes an unexpected turn, her focus remains the same: helping you feel supported, informed, and at peace with your experience. As your doula, Lacie provides: • Continuous, in-person labor support so you’re never navigating alone • Skilled positioning and comfort techniques to support progress and coping • Clear, real-time guidance so you understand what’s happening and what your options are • Partner coaching so your support person feels confident and helpful • Calm, steady presence—especially during the most intense moments If you’re looking for support that is both compassionate and highly skilled, Lacie’s approach is designed to help you feel prepared, supported, and confident as you welcome your baby.

Some packages include additional prenatal preparation and enrollment for parents in the evidence-based Bringing Baby Home® relationship and transition-to-parenthood course from the Gottman Institute.
We were living overseas and the birthing situation was new and confusing. Lacie was able to navigate time zones and technology limitations to provide valuable insight and support. Helping with getting our little one to flip from breach and encouraging labor to start with a much overdue baby. All through the information and resources she provided us. A great help and comfort to have on the way to the hospital and in the delivery room.
