I am a birth and postpartum doula and lactation consultant serving Wichita, Kansas. My passion as a doula is empowering pregnant women to take control of their prenatal preparation. I learned with my first pregnancy that birth is a huge physical feat, so I give you tools and simple movement exercises (that I wish I had back then!) which will train and balance your body specifically for the task at hand: pregnancy, birth, and recovery. I hired a doula for my first two births and I was SO grateful for that decision!! I gave birth at a free-standing birth center, with the support of her and my spouse. If it wasn't for my doula, I know I would not have made it through the marathon of labor! I came away feeling supported and strong. I was certified as a doula in 2016 and then in 2022 trained as a Body Ready Method Pro & Childbirth Educator. My wish is for everyone to be able to bring their baby into the world feeling supported, cared for, and prepared. I believe in the empowerment that comes from taking charge of your own labor which reveals a deeper strength you didn't know was there. My name is Becky Hodge. I live south of the KC Kansas area. I’m a mom of three, 20, 22 and 26 and married over 30 years. I’ve always had a passion for taking care of others, so, no matter what season of motherhood you are in, first baby or beyond you deserve to be heard, seen and loved on. I’m currently taking Post Partum Doula training courses to help educate myself how to help families get to know, understand and bond with their baby. I would love to help you with light housework, errands, babies' laundry, watching baby while you take a well-deserved nap or shower and make you a home cooked meal. Overnights are also available, so you get a good night's sleep while I care for your little one. I find joy in being a fun dependable person people can call on. I have been a professional nanny for over 10 + years traveling, working for NFL, pro baseball, doctors & lawyers.
