About me

Pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood are monumental rites of passage. It is my deepest desire that all families feel seen, supported, and well-resourced through the journey of bringing a child into the world. As a birth and postpartum doula, I am dedicated to offering unbiased support, evidence-based information, and a warm, grounded presence. I am here to walk alongside you and tend to your needs on your unique path to parenthood. My approach is rooted in a blend of traditional wisdom, modern research, and my own experience as a mother and care provider. I value informed consent and strive to ensure the families I work with feel educated and prepared for the profound, transformational experience awaiting them. I deeply trust in the innate wisdom of the body, birth, and maternal instinct. My intention as a birth companion is to be an unwavering source of confidence in your ability to birth your baby. It’s truly an honor to be trusted in such intimate spaces, and it’s a role I don’t take lightly. I am continually humbled by the beauty of witnessing these tender moments. In my downtime, you'll find me spending time with my family, exploring the forest, baking, and nerding out about women's health.

Service introduction

Birth packages include at least two prenatal visits, in which we will get to know each other and plan how I can best support you. We may discuss birth preferences, physiologic birth norms, prenatal care options, planning for postpartum, and more. I will be on call from 37 weeks to attend your birth. I will meet you at your home or desired birth place during active labor and will stay with you until you and baby are settled in after birth. During labor, I will be present to offer you (and your partner/family) emotional and physical support, information around choices that may come up, and help with older children. I will support your care team in creating an environment that makes you feel safe and held and allows for birth to unfold physiologically. Birth packages also include two postpartum visits. These visits may include nourishing food and beverage prep, practical household help, postpartum-specific body therapies, emotional support, education, and/or ceremony. Additional postpartum visits may be added as desired. I also offer postpartum-only packages and a la carte postpartum services for families who are desiring support after birth.

Kelsi was my post partum doula and she was absolutely amazing - during a difficult time!! She sat down with us to talk about our postpartum intentions and was thoughtful about our personal considerations - work schedules, pets, gardens etc. this was so helpful to bring us together to help us be realistic about our expectations. When the time came, Kelsi was there for the birth. A blur to me now but I remember being dutifully taken care or. She was a supportive presence in the delivery and like a little magic creature , she tidied up after the ordeal whilst midwives tended to me. I completely trust her to take care of my home and my creatures, but me and baby above all. Kelsi’s food deliveries were exceptional and I still crave her food. Massages were great, moxa fabulous. A gentle but supportive presence, friendly and professional. I am so glad she is a part of those memories for me. Endless praise and thanks for Kelsi!!

Kelsi supported my toddler & I with hair tissue mineral analysis and honestly it was life changing for us. At 1.5 years postpartum, chronically sleep deprived, stressed and still breastfeeding, I was struggling with my health and some concerning symptoms in my daughter that weren’t resolving no matter what I tried. Through our HTMA sessions I learned so much about our mineral status that really validated and explained the issues I was having. The protocol Kelsi gave us was thorough, gentle and properly attuned to our systems’ specific needs. We’ve been supporting our minerals for 6 months and are seeing some big shifts! Mineral balancing with Kelsi’s support has without a doubt been the most impactful thing I’ve ever done for my health, I recommend her to anyone who’s wanting to support their overall well being, and especially those with children, as mom & baby’s health is inherently interconnected.
