Kelly was great as a doula! We hired her for labor and birth, but ended up having a C section. She transferred her services to postpartum, which was very helpful during that time! I met Kelly while looking for a doula and she was referred to me by several people! I secured Kelly before being pregnant and it was intentional because of the pandemic and being a single mom by choice (SMBC). My story is different because my route to motherhood was through IVF. The IVF process has a great deal of twists and turns but through it all Kelly was right there to guide and assist me. Her services are unique which is great especially for me. She helped with my diet and recommended several exercises to help. On the morning of my c-section Kelly came to the hospital and prayed with me. She communicates well via text and phone calls. As a new mom Kelly is still responsive pre and post birth to questions I have from breastfeeding, constipation, sleep training, etc. I highly recommend Kelly and should I add to my family, she will be used again.

Working with Kelly Collins was one of the best decisions I made for my post-partum plan particularly when it came to maintaining some normalcy for my husband and 6-year-old. I cannot say enough good things about working with Kelly Collins and Best of Both Worlds Doula Services! Kelly was a great resource for me leading up to delivery and then during maternity leave. She helped the family smoothly transition to a family of four and for that I am beyond thankful and wasn't at my wits end. We discussed my goals prior to and following maternity leave and then set an action plan. Really, she did all the acting, and I well, I could focus on being with my newborn. And for the projects I wanted to do myself, she was right there looking after my little one. Anything and everything I needed for my family, she was there. She helped me get active with spin classes (she's also a fitness instructor), made sure I ate, ran errands with me, and above all sent me to take a nap while she watched our newborn and took care of the house! She is a fantastic resource that provides the best advice for your lifestyle and your family. It's great that I can still keep up with her during her fitness classes or even text her for encouragement about breastfeeding, advice for introducing solid foods, or not feeling guilty for getting some 'me time'. What I love most about the owner is her ability to listen and advise mothers not based on her preference, but your lifestyle. Her expertise and career with child care and early education are evident through her patient and calm demeanor.
