We are so grateful for our amazing doula! From the very beginning, she was incredibly responsive and always made herself available to meet with us in person, which made a huge difference compared to virtual support. She answered all of our questions with patience and expertise, and guided us through choosing the right baby products, which was so helpful as first-time parents. When I was unexpectedly hospitalized for five weeks due to a pregnancy complication—placenta previa that later transformed into vasa previa—she went above and beyond to support us. She went to our home and packed my hospital bag, making sure I had everything I needed. She also helped us with buying a stroller after discovering that our original choice wasn’t compatible with our car seat, and even installed the car seat for us. Throughout my hospital stay, she visited me regularly, offering comfort and reassurance during a very difficult time. The birth ultimately resulted in a 1.5-hour C-section due to the vasa previa condition. She was there when I woke up, feeling extremely sick and overwhelmed, and I truly don’t know what I would have done without her emotional and mental support for both me and my husband. Her presence and guidance made us feel supported and empowered throughout the entire process. In the postpartum period, she continued to be an incredible resource. She came to our home, offered advice on caring for our baby, and helped us install and learn how to use several products we had bought or received but had no idea how to use. Her hands-on support and practical guidance made a world of difference as we adjusted to life with our newborn. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better doula. She was our guardian angel, and we are so grateful she came into our lives. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care and support during pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

I don’t even know where to begin, because words hardly feel like enough to capture what Katelyn meant to us during my labor and delivery. She guided me with position changes, and ensured I felt safe and supported — especially as I had opted for an epidural birth. But beyond the physical support, Katelyn was a strong advocate for my birth plan. She made sure my voice was heard and my wishes were respected throughout the process. If you’re considering hiring a doula, do it — and if you’re lucky enough to have one like Katelyn, you’ll be in the best hands. Her strength, knowledge, and genuine care made all the difference. If I ever do this again, I’d choose her in a heartbeat.
