Hello! I’m Kashauna (Ka-shaw-nah), a trained Postpartum Doula, Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI) based in Durham Region. My passion for maternal health stems from a deep belief that welcoming a baby is as much about nurturing a new life as it is about embracing the transformation of parenthood. As a mother of three vibrant children, I understand the joys and challenges that come with each stage of parenting, and I am here to create a space where you feel empowered, educated, supported, and deeply connected through your unique experience. With over a decade of experience in community-based work, I approach my role with care, intention, and a focus on building trust with the families I support. My philosophy centres on education and fostering connection, bonding, healing, and confidence—whether through the gentle power of infant massage, tailored postpartum care, or emotional support. Together, we will navigate this new chapter, helping you recover, adjust, and build a strong connection with your baby as you care for your family. My goal is to provide calm, supportive care, equipping you with tools and encouragement to embrace parenthood with confidence and ease.
